Just a Reminder to Join Us at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge for Challenge #542

Hello everyone!!

I am popping in with a quick post to remind you to come on over and play with us for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #542

It is week #2 for this challenge and it is to use the colors Lime, Yellow and Orchid on a card.

Source

Once again I used an image from the Varada Sharma Shop that she generously gifted us.

Instead of coloring my flowers in orchid purple like I did last week, I decided to use yellow. I also used the sentiment that was gifted to us by Varada as well.

I added some Kat Scrappiness Purple Glass Bubbles around the sentiment to draw more attention to it.  They were the exact color of purple I needed!!

Please hop on over to play with us at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #542. I cannot wait to see what you create!!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Shaker and Stencil Release from Kat Scrappiness

***This post contains affiliate links that are used at no extra cost to you

Hello Friends!!

I am so excited today for a NEW April 2022 Release from the Kat Scrappiness Shop! They released new Shaker Dimension Sets and STENCILS!!!

I created two new projects for this release, a shaker card and a congratulations card with the new stencils.

For my first card, I used the new Butterfly Shaker Dimension set and the new Floating Dots stencil for this card.

I started off by creating my pattern paper background using the new Kat Scrappiness Floating Dots Stencil, the new Kat Scrappiness Stencil Brush and a stamp from the Kat Scrappiness Friendship Greetings Stamp set. I die cut it using the largest die from the Kat Scrappiness Embossed Edge Rectangles Dies and adhered it to a white A2, card front.

I used the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edged Rectangles to die cut a white postage stamp element and adhered it over my pattern paper.

Then it was time for the shaker!!! I used various colors of Distress Oxide Ink and Clear Embossing powder over the front of my butterfly. I filled my shaker with Kat Scrappiness Trix Mix II and White Diamond Sequins

I used the Kat Scrappiness Boxed Sentiment Strips to die cut a sentiment from the Friendship Greetings stamp set and adhered it over the butterfly with foam adhesive. To finish off my card, I glued sequins from the Trix Mix II randomly around the shaker. I LOVE how this card came out and cannot wait to send it to someone!!

My second card is one that is special to me because it is for my daughter. When I saw the new Falling Star Stencil, I knew exactly what I wanted to use it for-a graduation card!

I started off this card by using some blending red dye ink across a white, slimline card base. I then used the same red ink and the Kat Scrappiness Falling Stars Stencil to stencil stars over the entire card front.

Next I spritzed water and some mica spray over the entire card front. I then added the glitter letters that were die cut from gold and platinum glitter paper using the Kat Scrappiness Upper Case Condensed Alphabet.

I made sure to NOT adhere these letters in a straight line so that I didn't have to fight for it to be perfect!!!

My last step was to randomly adhere some pearls from the Kat Scrappiness Gray Opal Pearl Mix randomly across my card front. I cannot WAIT to give this to my daughter for her graduation!!!

Want to see some more fabulous projects with other new Shaker Dimension Kits? Hop on over to the Kat Scrappiness Blog!!!

What is a release without a hop? At 12 noon EST, we
have an Instagram Hop to showcase the release. Comment on all the DT posts to be put in a random prize drawing!!

That is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!!

Time for a New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge

Happy Monday everyone!!

I am rested up and back to work after a nice week off. The weather was so nice and we were able to get some things done in the yard.

Today I am popping in with a card that I created for this weeks Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #542.

This week at Cupcake Inspirations, it was a color challenge. I had to use Lime Green, Yellow and Orchid on my card. This was a challenge as I had to do some color tests to get the shade of pink I wanted.

The images that I colored for my card are Digital Images from this weeks sponsor, Varada Sharma

Week 2 of Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #541-Bunnies

Hello friends!!! Just popping in with a reminder for Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #541

It is week two of our challenge and I created another bunny card using Kat Scrappiness Hippity Hoppity Bunnies Stamp set, an MFT Stencil and a sentiment from The Greetery.

Below is the challenge badge for Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #541:

We are also teaming up with The Double Trouble Challenge. Be sure to link up to both challenges!!

I made my card really simple, once again. I meant to make a scene, actually made a background...and then didn't use it. Instead, I used the new Tim Holtz Saltwater Taffy Distress Ink and Oxide Ink to create my background.

I then used the matching Distress Stain to spray over to top of the pink blend.

I added the little Kat Scrappiness bunny that I had colored in with Copic Markers to the card front using foam adhesive.

My last step was to use a sentiment from The Greetery that was in my stash at the top of the pink and my card was complete!!

I hope that you join us this week at the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. I cannot wait to see what you create!!

I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #541 is teaming up with Double Trouble for this Bunny Challenge. Have fun and link up to both!!!

I started my card out by adhering a white, die cut, Lawn Fawn background over an A2 sized card front.

I used Kat Scrappiness' Embossed Rope Nested Circles to die cut a circle and adhere it to the front of the card.

I added a Kat Scrappiness Hippity Hoppity Bunny that had been stamped and fussy cut out over my circle using foam adhesive.

I adhered a stamped sentiment from Kat Scrappiness' Hippity Hoppity Sentiments stamp set around my bunny and used Nuvo Crystal Drops in white on my flowers. The card was done!!!

I hope that you can join us this week at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #541. I cannot wait to see what you create!!!

Kat Scrappiness Spring Fling Paper Pack Release

Hey friends!! Just popping in with a post showcasing the new Kat Scrappiness Spring Fling 6" by 8" paper pack. The colors and patterns are fresh and fun.

I created a card for this release using the new paper and the Friendship Greetings stamp set.

I started off my card by stamping the large flower from the Friendship Greetings set in green across my card front. I then sprinkled different colored inks over the top that matched the colors in new Spring Fling pattern paper that I used behind it.

I used the new paper and the smallest tag in the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Tag Dies for my tag. The flower and sentiments are also from the Friendship Greetings Stamp set.

I colored in the blooms with Copic Markers and die cut the "hello"sentiment (from the same set) using the Embossed Edged Circle Dies.

I finished off my card with some Kat Scrappiness Shades of Coral Enamel Dots.

Well that is all from me today. Be sure to hop on over to the Kat Scrappiness Blog to see the creations the other members of the Design Team created!!

I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS night!!
