Simon Says Stamp! Joy for You Release-Day 3

Hello Crafty Friends!!

I am on Day 3 posting some new projects for the Simon Says Stamp! Joy for You! release. I used the Deck the Halls stamp set for both my cards.

For my first card, I created my card with a blue color palette.

I cut out the card front using the A2 Notched Rectangles die and adhered it to a blue card base.

I embellished the ornaments using Stickles shades of blue.

For my next two cards, I stamped the tiny stamps in the Deck the Hall stamp set and created a background on an A2 white card base. I then cut it in pieces to accent my cards.

I used the Delicate Pine Branch embossing folder for the backgrounds on both cards. I also heat embossed the sentiments in white on red cardstock. Each were die cut using different circle dies.

I added some pine branches die cut using the Ho Ho Holiday Greens dies underneath each sentiment. On the second card, I added some Tim Holtz Rock Candy Chunky Glitter for a little sparkle.

I added some green glitter paper above and below my stamped border on this card.

I added a stamped, green bow over the sentiment on card. The stamped banner was die cut using the SSS Basic Banners Die.

Please hop on over to Simon Says Stamp! to see the rest of the Joy for You! release. You want to see the fabulous projects from all the designers!!

That is all from me today. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!

Simon Says Stamp! Joy for You Release Day 2

Hello again Crafty Friends!

Just popping in today with two more cards that I created using the new Simon Says Stamp! Deck the Halls stamp set from the Joy For You release.

To be honest, I actually created this card TWO times but this one made the cut. I stamped the ornaments from the Deck the Halls in Cheeky, Blush and Pucker SSS Positively Saturated Ink.

The ornament tops were stamped in Concord & 9th Dove ink. I think this ink looks like silver and is perfect for using in lieu of heat embossing.

The sentiment was die cut using the SSS Merry Dies. I layered this over some silver Altenew thread.

My second card I used Pinkfresh Studio Heartbeat cube inks to stamp my ornaments. I also made this a flat card, something I NEVER do.

I had fun using at least one of each ornament from the Deck the Halls stamp set on this card.

I used Stickles in various colors on each ornament to for some sparkle.

My last step was to add some rhinestones around the sentiment. I think my favorite element of this card are those chains!!!

That is all from me today. Want to see the whole collection? Hop on over to Simon Says Stamp! for the complete Joy for You! release.

Simon Says Stamp! Joy for You Release

Happy Thursday Crafty Friends!!

Today I am popping in with some projects that I created for the NEW Simon Says Stamp! Joy for You Release. I used the new Deck the Halls stamp set for the two cards that I am posting today.

My first card uses an unusual color palette for a Christmas card. I ink blended the background with SSS Positively Saturated Ink in Sky and Spring. The sentiment is stamped in Night.

The left ornament was stamped using the new Deck the Halls stamp set with the same inks. The right ornament to the right I stamped with Concord & 9th Dove Ink. I think the favorite things in this set are the fun "chains" that the ornaments are hanging from.

My second card I created I used a totally different color palette. I chose to use shades of green and pink.

For my background, I embossed a white panel with the Simon Says Stamp Shimmering Starfall embossing folder. I then layered a panel that was die cut using the A2 Notched Rectangle die that I had stamped the "Merry and Bright" sentiment that is included in the Deck the Halls stamp set.

I used the Deck the Halls stamp set to stamp my ornaments in shades of pink and green, using the C9 Dove ink for the ornament tops and chains.

I then cut out the ornaments and adhered them onto the card front. The light green ornament I popped up using foam adhesive. My last step was to adhere gems around the sentiment and add some Nuvo Drops on my green ornament.
