Lawn Fawn Stamped Cards

I just wanted to post two cards I created using Lawn Fawn's "On the Mend" set. The cards are EXTREMELY simple. Stamping, coloring, scoring and layering, that is all.

The first one is a little turtle. I colored him in using Copic Markers. I do not have a photo of the exact colors I used and I apologize for that. I did a mass coloring of different stamped images when I created this card and didn't keep track of which colors I used.

The card kind of looks off in this photo but it really isn't. I scored the sides at 1/2" in and used foam adhesive to mount it on the patterned paper.

I added diamond Stickles to the little shapes on the shell and to finish the card off. Isn't this little turtle cute?

The second card I created I used the flowers in this set with the same sentiment. I pretty much used the same design as the turtle card-simple, simple, simple.

I figured that this card could be used as either a get well card OR a general card letting someone know that I was thinking of them.

Again, I used Stickles on the card but would not use them again for this image. I put it on too thick and messed up the faces.

I hope you enjoyed my post for today. Thank you for stopping by!!

WPlus9 "Fresh Cut Florals" Part 4

Happy Hump Day!! I promise, this is the last day I am going to post projects with WPlus9's "Fresh Cut Florals" die and stamp set this week.

Today I am sharing a simple tag that I created using the left over flowers I had from the cards I created with this set.

First I die cut the tag out of Little Yellow Bicycles "Carnations" pattern paper using the "Tag # 6" die from Paper Trey Ink. I then die cut the wreath using PTI's "Notched Flower Die" and a Nestabilities circle to make a "wreath." I adhered the "wreath" onto the card with foam adhesive.

Next I arranged the flower elements and adhered them to the front of the wreath on the left using a combination of foam adhesive and regular adhesive.

I then glued the twine bow and used diamond Stickles in the center of the flowers. To finish, I die cut a banner out of white card stock and stamped a sentiment in black. The crystals were added on at the last minute because I felt the tag needed a little something more.

I love the colors on this tag and how the whole project came out. I cannot wait to use it on a gift.

I hope that you have been inspired the last four days by all the projects I created from the "Fresh Cut Florals" set. I AM NOT affiliated with WPlus9 at all but just LOVE this set. If you have any fun projects using these stamps, please let me know. I would love to take a peek at them!!

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!!

WPlus9 "Fresh Cut Florals" Part 3

Happy Tuesday!! I am once again sharing the cards I created using WPlus9's "Fresh Cut Florals" die and stamp set.

My first card is very simple. I actually CASEd from someone else's card that I saw. The person did not use this stamp set but a similar flower. I apologize for not having a link.

I first cut  a strip of Little Yellow Bicycle patterned paper (Geometric Green) and placed it diagonally over a lemon tart A2 card base. I then cut a tiny strip of lemon tart paper and stamped the sentiment from Paper Trey Ink's "Heart-2-Heart #4" mini stamp set in brown ink. Next I stamped "hello" from the same set in orange zest ink. I adhered the yellow strip to the green paper using foam adhesive, slightly above the hello.

For the next step, I adhered a set of leaves and a flower over the yellow strip and a set of leaves and one flower under the yellow strip. To finish the card off I used diamond Stickles in the middle of the flowers and added three orange gems.

I really love the colors of this card and only wish I had more of this patterned paper.

Here is a side view of the card.

My second card I created from scratch. I used a lemon tart A2 size card stock base. I then adhered a piece of 4" by 5 1/4" piece of lemon tart patterned paper over the base. Next I die cut a banner from the  "Geometric Green" patterned paper and adhered it to the front of the card.

I stamped a block using the Paper Trey Ink's "Do Me a Favor" stamp set in lemon tart ink and the sentiment from "Tag It's #3" in orange zest ink. I adhered the block onto the card using adhesive foam.

I then adhered a flower using foam adhesive to the top left of the stamped block and an arrangement of flowers to the bottom right of the block. The last step was to adhere five yellow sequins randomly over the card and to put a little bit of diamond Stickles into the middle of the flowers.

That is all for today. I hope you enjoyed my cards. Thank you for stopping by!!
