Stamping Smiles Designs Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #7

Happy Friday everyone!! Today I am sharing a card that I created for Stamping Smiles Designs Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #7.

I chose the last row down for my card, using tag, Kraft, and one potted plant.

I chose to use the Kraft element as the background card stock. I then went through my scraps and grabbed a piece of purple patterned paper that is YEARS old and some purple Bazzill. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut the paper out. I layered the two pieces over the card base and added another scrap of white over them.

Next I die cut a tag using Casual Friday's "Tag Buddies Frie-dies" out of light purple card stock, added a gray piece of Doodlebug Twine at the top of the tag, and adhered it to the card using foam adhesive.

I then adhered a flower and pot that I had colored in with Copic markers and die cut using Sunny Studios "Backyard Bugs" stamp and matching dies. I added a touch of white on the flower with a Signo Uniball gel pen and some sparkle with a clear Wink of Stella over the whole image. I also added some yellow Stickles to the flower center.

I completed the card by adding some sequins by Pretty Pink Posh.

I really love how this came out. I hope you all come on over to Stamping Smiles Design Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge and join us in this challenge.

Have a FABULOUS weekend!!

CAS(E) this Sketch #165

Happy Easter!! I hope you all had a FABULOUS day. I spent time with some of my extended family, whom I have not seen in a few months.

Yesterday was Chris' birthday. We left him alone to do whatever he wanted to do for the day. He spent it playing video games and relaxing. Love this man!!

We did go out to a local barbecue place that he wanted to go to for dinner. It is cafeteria style and oh so delicious.

This was my meal. I took half home, which will be my lunch at work tomorrow.

Today I am sharing a card I created for CAS(E) this Sketch #165.

I chose to flip the sketch a bit for my design and I am hoping they accent it!!

Here is what the original was:

I probably should have put the circle with the baby sleeper on the right side now that I think of it. I was looking at it the wrong way and just moving the whole border down rather then just flipping it 180 degrees.

Anyway, I needed a baby card to go with a gift I bought for a co-worker so making this is not wasted.

The card base is PaperTrey Ink's Aqua Mist and I layered a piece of Amy Tangerine patterned paper from the "Rise and Shine" collection. I used a My Favorite Things "Pierced Rectangle" to die cut it. I then layered a die cut scrap that I had stamped with a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's "Little Bundle" set.

Using foam adhesive, I layered a white card stock circle over the border strip. I then adhered the little sleeper that I had stamped and die cut from patterned paper, (also from "Little Bundle") as well as used some Studio Nuvo Crystal Drops to make the little white buttons.

My last step was to adhere some sequins around the circle.

I had a TON of fun creating this card and die cut and stamped a TON from this new Lawn Fawn set. I plan to make a bunch of baby cards to have on hand from this set.

Thank you for stopping by!! Have a great week!!
