Clean and Simple Stamping Sketch With Lawn Fawn

Happy Sunday!!

I hope you are all doing well. I have not been posting as of late. Not that I have not been creating but life has been catching up. Once I get home from work and the gym, get ready for the next day, I just don't have energy to do anything but sit on the couch.

My new thing, though, is stamping images and coloring while I watch TV. That way when I do have time, I don't have to color the images from scratch as well as make a card!!

Today I am sharing a card I created that was inspired by a sketch from Clean and Simple Stamping.

Here is the card I created:

I used Lawn Fawn's "Winter Otter" stamp set to stamp the otter and I colored it in with Copic Markers. I attempted to make it look like it was covered in fur but it was an epic fail.

Here is the sketch that inspired me:

Instead of making the card square, I made a smaller square and used the box as my foal point.

The sentiment was stamped using My Favorite Things retired "Toasty Greetings" stamp set and the paper strips are scraps that I had on my desk.

The candy cane is actually not the one that comes in the stamp set. I lost it on the mess on my desk so used a different one that I found in the pile.

What is your secret to getting it all done? Do you plan your blog posts out and then make your projects ahead of time? Do you just use Instagram? Let me know your secret!!

That is all from me today. Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Autumn Blessings for CAS-ual Fridays Stamps

Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Today is my turn for some CAS-ual Fridays inspiration over at the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog. We were asked to make a fall card and I chose to use the "Acorn Fri-dies" as my focal point and a sentiment from the matching "Autumn Blessings" stamp set.

I kind of am addicted to die cutting right now and am trying to use scraps of patterned paper as much as I can. I chose red and orange as my leaf colors because these are my favorite colors on fall trees. My neighbor across the street has a tree that has leaves that turn that exact orange!!

I chose to stamp and then fussy cut the "blessing" sentiment so I could make it part of the grouping rather then use a strip.

I added the little heart from the "Fun-Fetti Fri-dies" because it was sitting on my desk and I thought it would looked nice over the green. Besides, I don't think I have made a card lately that doesn't use this die set!! I think it is one of my all-time favorites!! (and I have A LOT of dies.)

I hope I have inspired you to create some Autumn cards of your own. If you are interested in giving yourself a shopping spree, use my code nora2017 to get an extra 15% off your purchase at the CAS-ual Fridays Stamp Store.

CAS-ual Fridays Sneak Peek of the new "Sugar Plum Fairy" and "Ballerina" Fri-dies

Happy Friday everyone!! I hope you all had a fabulous week!!

Today I am part of a CAS-ual Fridays Stamps mini release to showcase the new "Sugar Plum Fairy" stamp set and the new "Ballerina" Fri-dies. Both are available in the CAS-ual Fridays Stamp Store today!!

In honor of the release, I am part of a hop. Please go to CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog for the full list of the Ink Squad's blogs.

I created a card that showcased the ballerina from the new "Sugar Plum Fairy" set and die cut her out with the new "Ballerina" Fri-die.

To start off the card, I adhered a piece of patterned paper over a top folding, green A2 card base.

I then covered covered the bottom half of a white card stock panel with matching patterned paper. I adhered this to the card front.

I then used an action wobbler to adhere the ballerina to the top of the white panel.

I stamped a sentiment in gray using CAS-ual Fridays Stamps "Snowy Sayings" stamp set onto a tag I created with a corner rounder and hole punch. I added some holiday twine through the top and adhered it to the card using foam adhesive. My last step was to adorn the dancer with some sparkle using silver glitter glue.

Twenty Five Days of Christmas Tags with CAS-ual Fridays Stamps

Happy Friday!!!

Today I part of the Twenty Five Days of Christmas hosted by Tracey McNeely for CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

I created a tag using CAS-ual Fridays Stamps new "Joy" stamp set, along with their "Tag Buddies" Fri-dies.

I started by die cutting a tag out of white card stock and randomly stamping the small snowflakes from the "Joy" stamp set with peach dye ink. I am into unconventional colors this Christmas and plan to make a bunch of tags in peaches and blues.

I then stamped the Joy sentiment onto a separate piece of white card stock, masking to make it two different colors. I then used Glossy Accents over the J and Y and Diamond Stickles on the snowflake.

When everything was dry, I cut the sentiment out and adhered it to the tag with adhesive foam. Easy Peasy and oh so FUN!!

I thank you for stopping by today. If you get lost along the way, hope on over to Tracey McNeely's Blog for the blog hop order!!

Have a FABULOUS day!!

Never Forget You are LOVED!!

Happy Monday everyone!!

October is Cancer Awareness month and Michele, the owner of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps had turned the blog PINK.  Michele has a "Calling All Sistahs" collection of products that consist of stamps and dies to send encouragement and love to someone who might be suffering from this terrible disease. She gives 50% of the proceeds of these products to Breast Cancer Research but this month she has increased her donation to 75%!!!

In honor of of this month, I created a card that used the "Word Ribbon" stamp set from this line to create an encouragement card.

I started off this card by dry embossing some pink card stock and then mounted over a matching A2 card.

I then stamped a white panel using butterflies from the "Be" set in different shades of pink. Next I stamped the sentiment from "Word Ribbon" over the top with brown dye ink.

I mounted the stamped panel over the card front, tucking some pink borders under it for a little more emphasis. I finished the card off by adhering some clear sequins around the sentiment.
