Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Reminder for #548

Today I am just popping in with a reminder for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #548. 

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #548 is a color challenge. It is to use poppy, rose or olive on a card.

I used a ton of Spellbinders flowers on my card from the Mini Blooms and Sprigs Die Set. The background die is from Pinkfresh Studio.

I actually thought this challenge was going to be harder than it was. I do not use these color regularly but it was a lot easier than I thought. These tiny blooms were so fun to use.

A Couple of Challenges

Hello friends!

Today I am popping in with two cards for some challenges. I have not been able to be crafty with cards but yesterday I was able to sit down and bang out some creations. It was so fun!!

My first card is for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #544. I used the Beautiful Blooms stamps, dies and stencils, mixed with some paper by 49 and Market-Spectrum Sherbet Tidal Wave and Sherbet Strawberry Lemonade. I ADORE pattern paper and it was so fun to use on a card.  

The background die is from Birch Press Design. Below is the sketch that I used:

The flower image was a  bit big for the card so I cut it down to fit where I needed it to go.

The inks are a combination of Simon Says Stamp and Pinkfresh Studio.

For my second card I used a color combination from the Color Hues Challenge.

I used my new Monthly Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Wood Anemone stamp that I received this week!!!

I did add a bit of yellow Nuvo Drops in the center. This is NOT an actual color of a Wood Anemone but I loved how this came out. I used ink from MFT and Tim Holtz Distress Ink to ink blend the colors.

I splattered some Pumice Stone and coral ink across the card front.

A New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations!!!

Hello everyone!! I hope you all had a nice weekend. 

Today I am popping in with a card I created for the new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog. 

For the next two weeks, the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge is a color challenge. It is to use the colors Poppy, Rose and Olive on a card.

I used some fun dies from Spellbinders for my card. I fell in love  with the Artful Tulip Dies and the Butterfly Burst dies. I had to use them on a card!!!

My background was created using a piece of pattern paper and a stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. 

My sentiment is from Spellbinders Paint Your World clear stamp set. I love how this card came out and I cannot wait to send it to someone!!!

Today I am popping in with a reminder for this weeks Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #547. The theme is "Oh My Stars."

Once again I did not use the traditional red, white and blue on my card. I went with a beach theme. I used the image from "Summer Circles" by Pretty Pink Posh, which I colored in using Copic Markers. 

The star fish border was stamped in pink using the Seas and Greetings stamps from Simon Says Stamps. The die cut starfish is from a Hero Arts die set and the sentiment is from a Concord and 9th stamp set.

Once again, I LOVE how this card came out!!! It is a simple design but was fun to create.
