Just a Reminder for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #551

Hey Friends!! Just popping in with a reminder for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #551

Of course I have a card!! This might be a hard one to guess but it is something that I do as well as cardmaking.

It is all about FLOWER ARRANGING!!! Have you ever done this? I have created bouquets for events and make wreaths for the seasons. Do you think you can create something this week for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #551?

I used some stamps and dies from The Greetery. They make the most beautiful stamps. The background die is from Pinkfresh Studio.

The sentiment is from my stash. I have such a hard time embossing in white on black, no matter how hard I try. I had to fill in some of the "missing" white with a gel pen.

Does this inspire you to join us this week for the last week of Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #551? Hop on over to play!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

A New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations

Hello friends!! I am popping in today with a new challenge from Cupcake Inspirations Challenges

This week is a THEME challenge. It is all about HOBBIES!!! Can you guess what hobby my card showcases?

Are you an artist-a painter to be exact?? Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #551 was a TON OF FUN to create!!

I used the new Colorado Craft Company's Paint Town stamps and dies. I received them last month and this was the PERFECT challenge to dig them out.

Isn't he cute? And I had to use blue as my paint color because it is one of my favorite colors!!!

I decided to blend a little "picture" that my critter "painted." And that sentiment? It sings to my SOUL!!!

Does this inspire you to play with us this time at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge? Hop on over and join us!! I cannot wait to see what you create!!

I want to thank you for stopping by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

You are Pawsome!!!

***Affiliate links are used in this post at no extra cost to you.

Hello Friends!!

Just popping in with a couple of cards that I created for the Pawsome Release at the Kat Scrappiness Shop. I have two cards over on the Kat Scrappiness Blog but made an extra two for my blog. These stamps, paper, dies and stencils are SO FUN to create with!!

The first card I created is a pet sympathy card. I used the new Kat Scrappiness Rainbow Bridge 4 x 6 stamps and some paw prints from the new Kat Scrappiness Paw Print Sprinkles.

I stamped the bridge image from the Rainbow Bridge Stamp Set and colored it in with a rainbow of Copic markers. I then used a gel pen to add some white dots for a "sparkle" effect.

I stamped the sentiment at the top and the dog on the bridge in black. I used white pencil to color in the wings and added some white gel pen dots. I covered the dog in Glossy Accents to give the dog some emphasis. The last thing I did was to add some Paw Print Sprinkles around the title and my card was done!!

For my second creation, I combined four new products on my card!!!

I used the new Pawsome Boy Paper Pad, the Pawsome Dogs Stamp Set, the Pawsome Dog Sentiments and the Dog Bone Sprinkles on this card.

I colored in my pup using some colored pencils and then fussy cut him out. There are matching dies to both stamp sets but they did not come in on time. I layered him over some of the fun papers from the paper pad and placed him like he is "thinking" the sentiment.

Well, that is all from me today. Please head on over to the Kat Scrappiness Blog to see my other creations.

Tomorrow there will be an Instagram Hop. Be sure to hop on over to my IG Page for the list of participants!!!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by!! Have a FABULOUS day!!

A Reminder for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #550

Hey friends!! Today I am popping in to remind you that you still have time to play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #550.

It is a color challenge. For Cupcake Inspirations #550, you need to use the colors PINK, GRAY and WHITE on your card front.

For my card, I kind of went the peachy pink way once again. I actually think it leans more toward peach but I am okay with that.

The lace and branch is from Altenew. The butterfly from Pink Fresh Studio and the sentiment is one I typed up and printed out. The pearls are from Kat Scrappiness.

Once again this was really simple to create as I had this in my stash to put together. I did have to shade teh lace and color in the butterfly but that is the fun part!!!

I hope you take the time to join us for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #550. I cannot wait to see what you create!!

I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Just For You

Hey Friends!! I hope you all are well.

It has been an absolutely BEAUTIFUL weekend, blue skies, low 80's and low humidity. We were able to give the dogs a long walk yesterday, something I was not able to do this week. The humidity combined with my 4th booster for COVID just killed me. I don't mind heat-I can handle it. I HATE HUMIDITY. It is my nemesis. I don't mind heat-I can handle it.

Charlotte is now officially back in Maryland-her new home. She registered her car, got a new license and will start her job on August 29th. She was home for almost the whole summer and I will miss her. However, I am a parent that feels you have to let your children go for them to flourish. I could not let go from my father after my mother died due to a lot of things but wish I had as much courage as Charlotte has. I admire her

I am popping in with some cards for some challenges. I stayed up late this week while my husband was away and stamped some images from The Greetery.

Do you do this? I have not had a ton of mojo lately, due to not feeling good but I did feel well enough to stamp. I used a combination of Pinkfresh Studio and Altenew cube inks to stamp everything.

For my first card, I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #548 as my inspiration.

Here is the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches that inspired this card.

I used some of the images I stamped from The Greetery on this card over the strip on the right.

I used paper from Fancy Pants Design on my card as well. I thought it was perfect for this card!!! I adore how this came out.

For my next card, I used the sketch from
Just Add Ink #616 as my inspirations.

I am not going to lie, my card is a stretch and has a lot more detail than the sketch but my card was developed around it.

I started off by using paper from 49 and Market. I used a piece from Tidal Wave for the bottom and I embossed a background using a Memory Box die on pattern paper from the Strawberry Lemonade Collection. I have to say, I LOVE this paper!! I know some people like to make their backgrounds and I do...sometimes. I adore pattern paper and love to incorporate it into my cards.

I paired the paper with some stamped flowers and pitcher from The Greetery. I used some orange mesh paper for the circle in the sketch and colored a piece of the Floral Lace die cut from Altenew at the bottom.

I covered the pitcher with Glossy Accents-leaving some bubbles in is. I peruse my pottery and sometimes the glaze does have bubbles so I made a conscious decision to leave it in.

I used Nuvo Crystal Drops in the flower centers. Won't be doing that again!! My drops were  a bit thick and didn't smooth out how I wanted no matter what I did!! My sentiment was one I printed myself.

I am also going to enter this card into this month's Flower Challenge. It was to use circles on your card. I think qualifies!!

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!
