WPlus9 "Fresh Cut Florals" part two

Hello again!! I have been having a blast this weekend playing with WPlus9's "Fresh Cut Florals" dies and stamp set. I don't think I have ever been this excited about a stamp set. I think the best part about it for me was that I pulled out so many of my ink pads  and used them.  (I should really take a photo of all of them-it is kind of sick how many I have.)

I apologize for this photo. It was night time and my desk was very messy. I just wanted  everyone to see that I created each piece in an assembly line process. I used the "Fresh Florals Die" three times to die cut all these pieces out of white card stock. I then went to town stamping. I used TWENTY-ONE ink colors for all these pieces!!! It took me quite a bit of time to do all this so after I stamped, I decided to go to bed and sleep on how I wanted to use all these pieces.

For the first card, I pulled out my "Mega Gracious Vases" Die from Paper Trey Ink and die cut two vases out of white card stock. I knew I wanted to use these on a card but wasn't sure how or what colors I was going to choose for the background.

The white vase was just looking too austere to me so I looked around my house for inspiration. I remembered the sunflowers my friend had brought for me when she came for a visit that were sitting on my counter in a milk glass vase.

I decided that embossing the vases was the key. I went through my embossing folders and chose a thin one I had by Cuttlebug.

I loved how it came out!!! Using foam adhesive, I layered the vase over a die cut piece of pink patterned paper that I had already adhered to my card front. Then I played around with how I wanted my flowers to be. When I was happy with the arrangement, I used a mixture of dot adhesive and foam adhesive to layer the flowers.

I added a bow and some diamond Stickles to some of the flowers, stamped a sentiment and the card was done. So easy!! (However it took a while of layering and digging out products before I came up with this. I am a slow designer!!) I just noticed that the corner of the card in this photo is a bit deformed. I hate when that happens!!

For my second card, I used pink as the background for the card. Instead of using an embossing folder, I used a score board to make the pattern in my vase. I then layered the vase, using foam adhesive, over a strip of patterned paper scrap and some blue twine.

I then arranged the flowers how I wanted them and adhered them to the card with dot and foam adhesive squares.

I then used some midnight blue Stickles for some of the flowers middles and added some blue gems to complete the card.

This is close up of the vase. I had to ink it because somehow I got a little bit of dark ink on it. To cover it up, I took Vintage Photo ink and just touched the sides with a sponge.

That is all for now. I have a couple more projects that I will share tomorrow with the same stamps. Thank you for stopping by!!!

Nora
