Today I am sharing a card I created for Stamping Smiles Designs Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #8.
I chose to use the last column on the right, down-Square Card, Die-Cut Negatives and Food/Drink.
This was a TOTAL challenge for me as I DO NOT make square cards!! That said, this was oh so much fun to create!!
I started off by taking an A2 sized polka dot card base I had in my stash and cutting it into a 4" by 4" card. Next I used foam adhesive to pop a negative die-cut that I had on my desk. I had previously blended this square with orange ink and used the circle for a different card. I adhered a white banner with a stamped sentiment from PaperTrey Ink's "Sweet as Can Be" stamp set over the square.
I then stamped, die cut and adhered an ice cream cone from the set over the banner. The last step was to add sequin "sprinkles" on top of the ice cream.
I LOVE how this card came out and used a stamp set that I had NEVER played with before even though I have had it for years. I LOVE these challenges!!
Please hop on over to the Stamping Smiles Designs Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge blog and play with us.
Thank you for stopping by!! Have a FABULOUS day!!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a bright and happy card, Nora! It reminds me of sandals and tank tops and convertibles! Are there any convertibles around any more? No one rode in one better than Audrey Hepburn! Unless it was Princess Grace! (You've made me nostalgic!!) Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell
