CASual Fridays Stamps March Release Day 2: More Cowbell

Hello everyone!!

Today is day two of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps March Release. The Ink Squad is showcasing cards using the stamp set "More Cowbell" and "Cowbell Fri-dies."

 

I have to admit I had no clue what was behind this stamp set. I had to look it up and watch the SNL skit.

I created a birthday card using this stamp and die set.


I started off by using two shades of gray Distress ink to blend a background. Then I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from "More Cowbell" stamp set in silver.


Next I adhered the stamped panel onto a gray, A2 card base. I used the "Cowbell Fri-dies" out of silver card stock and tied a piece of tinsel on top to make it more "festive."


The last step was to adhere the die cut using foam adhesive.

    Ha ha ha Nora, so funny. Love your card and love how honest you were about not getting the joke! Do you even get SNL on TV where you live?

    Haha I love this card! I still recall this SNL skit...Such a gorgeous card and a really beautiful way to showcase these dies and stamps!
