CAS-ual Fridays June 2019 Release Day 4

Hello everyone!! Today is the last day of sneak peeks of the new CAS-ual Fridays Stamps release.

I have to admit that the new Heart A2 Panel Fri-die is my FAVORITE out of this new release. I can see me using this for all sorts of cards-from birthday to sympathy. For today's post, I created a simple hello card.

The first thing I thought about when I saw this die was it screamed 1970's to me. I don't know why but it did. I used the new Heart A2 Panel Fri-die to die cut three panels of bright cardstock that I associate with this era. I then adhered the die cut panels together, staggering them so the color below would peek out, and then cut off the extra cardstock at the edges.

Next I adhered the die cut over a kraft colored, A2 card base and added a "hello" sentiment that was die cut using the Sweet Friend Fri-dies.

I covered the sentiment with clear sparkle pen and Glossy Accents to give it a bit of sparkle.

The new Heart A2 Panel Fri-die, along with the rest of the release is available now in the NEW section of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps store. Use my code NORASENTME to get an extra 15% off your total order.

For more inspiration, hop on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog to see what the other designers came up with.

I thank you for taking the time to stop by today. Have a FABULOUS day!!

  3. I can see why this die reminds you of the 70s Nora. I love how you layered the die cuts in different retro colours and used kraft card for the background.
