The sentiment was stamped and embossed first, before I did anything. I didn't want the background to interfere with that.
Things I learned:
Not all white pigment ink is the same. I used MFT's white on this card. Jennifer used Hero Art's, which I did not have at the time. (I have since gotten my hands on some!!) On some parts of the card, the ink was a bit saturated and I had a hard time with it drying, even with my heat gun. I also need to get some ultra fine white (and black) embossing powder for sentiments. The stuff I have just doesn't work all that well.
