As You See It Challenge #151, Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes" and Cup Cake Inspirations Challenge #410

Hello everyone!! It is Monday and I am hoping it goes by fast!! Mondays are always tough for me to get through for some reason. However, this is the last full week of school before exams. Yeah!!

Today I am posting a card that I created for three challenges-"As You See It Challenge #151," Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes" and Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #410.

I have to admit that I have been in quite a slump lately so I am so excited that I had a bit of mojo this weekend!! To top it off, I used a bunch of NBUS products that have been sitting in my stash.

I wanted to make a "fun" card and the sketch from "As You See It Challenges" was my jumping off point for the card design.

I did tweak it a bit as I always do but it does resemble it. The colors that I chose were inspired by the Cupcake Inspirations Badge.

I used Spellbinders "Emoji's" dies for the little smiley face and Simon Says Stamps "Summer Greetings" for the sentiment strips.

The background paper is from Basic Grey's "Fiction" 6" by 6" paper pad. I hoard their paper because I know I cannot get anymore of it. I so miss this company!!

All the rest of the papers used are SCRAPS!! You have to love that, right?

My scrap drawers are OVERFLOWING and I need to start using more of it. Then I can use the NEW papers that I have-also more then I will ever need!! Am I the only one that hoards paper?

The last challenge I am entering this into is Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes."
I thank you for taking the time to stop by today. Have a FABULOUS day!!

  2. Nora, this card did make me smile! Love the shades on the little smiley face; that made me grin! And I get what you mean about scraps... I've stopped saving the teeny-tiny ones, unless they're from BG or another of my favorite companies. Love that your scraps made such a cool card!! I think Wednesday will be my 'use only scraps' card making day this week. Maybe my drawer will be a little less full, lol!! Have a wonderful week. Bev

  4. That paper is really gorgeous and very on point with the way it looks like you've done a very fancy ombre watercolour technique! It's such a fun background for such a fun focal point. Love the little emoji and the rakish angle of the sentiment strips. I thinks it's a fabulous take on our sketch. Thanks so much for joining us at As You See It.
