Clean and Simple Stamping Sketch With Lawn Fawn

Happy Sunday!!

I hope you are all doing well. I have not been posting as of late. Not that I have not been creating but life has been catching up. Once I get home from work and the gym, get ready for the next day, I just don't have energy to do anything but sit on the couch.

My new thing, though, is stamping images and coloring while I watch TV. That way when I do have time, I don't have to color the images from scratch as well as make a card!!

Today I am sharing a card I created that was inspired by a sketch from Clean and Simple Stamping.

Here is the card I created:

I used Lawn Fawn's "Winter Otter" stamp set to stamp the otter and I colored it in with Copic Markers. I attempted to make it look like it was covered in fur but it was an epic fail.

Here is the sketch that inspired me:

Instead of making the card square, I made a smaller square and used the box as my foal point.

The sentiment was stamped using My Favorite Things retired "Toasty Greetings" stamp set and the paper strips are scraps that I had on my desk.

The candy cane is actually not the one that comes in the stamp set. I lost it on the mess on my desk so used a different one that I found in the pile.

What is your secret to getting it all done? Do you plan your blog posts out and then make your projects ahead of time? Do you just use Instagram? Let me know your secret!!

That is all from me today. Thank you so much for stopping by!!

  2. I love your take on the sketch! Sorry, I don't really have any tips on "getting it all done". Lately, I've been doing my weekly blog post at the last minute. I definitely like the ease of sharing a quick project pic on Instagram though!
