It is Monday and I am here again with a card I created for a challenge. This time, it was a sketch from the Sunday Stamps Blog that inspired me to make a Christmas card.
I made a ton of cards this weekend and I think this one was my favorite!!
Below is the inspiration sketch SSC166:
I started out by die cutting a piece of snowflake paper patterned paper, wrapping some red twine around the front and adhering it to a gray A2 card base. I then used an embossing folder on white card stock to create snow and die cut three squares out of it. I adhered these over the patterned paper.
Next I went through the mess on my desk and picked out some images that I had previously stamped and colored in using Copic Markers. (I should post a photo but am too embarrassed right now. My husband says it looks like a hoarders desk!!)
I adhered the images over the squares, added an embossed sentiment, a little stamped holly and I was done!!
Making cards is a no brainer when the images are already colored in to use and layer on a card!!
That is all for today. Thanks for stopping by!!
