Happy Monday!! It has been brutally cold here in the Northeast and we are coming off a four day weekend due to extreme snow. I am looking forward to spring!!
Today I am on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog. I created the card below using some of the new stamps that were released from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps last week.
I stamped a piece of patterned paper using the previously released "Peace, Love & Coffee" using red and brown dye ink. I then die cut it and adhered it to the top of an 4" by 5 1/2," top folding card base.
I used "Coffee Cup Fri-dies" to die cut a red coffee cut out of red card stock and stamped a sentiment in brown using "Coffee Talk." I adhered it to the front of the card with the handle hanging off.
I adhered a sentiment that I had die cut 3 times and glued together for some dimension over the sentiment. I covered the beans and the die cut sentiment with a clear glitter pen.
The last step was to tie a piece of red twine at the top.
Since I had stamped a full piece of patterned paper, I created a similar version of the first card, switching up the sentiment and the twine.

Oh, I like this Nora!! Your design is wonderful. The mug handle off the edge of the cards is fun. Super cute card!

But first, I was just happily admiring your design: love the offset heart and bean scallop and that coffee cup with the heart handle is just too darn cute and then squinting my eyes ...
