Hello everyone!! I hope you are all having a fabulous Sunday.
Since I had a four day weekend due to snow, (I work in a school) I worked on some cards.
During Christmas vacation, I had an opportunity to clean up my craft desk a little bit. One thing that I tend to do is color stamped images with Copic markers in front of the television and then never use them. I have decided in 2018 that I am going to try to create at least one card a week with these images.
Today I created TWO cards using Altenew "Beautiful Day" flowers.
For my first card, I stamped the background and added a lace die cut from Neat and Tangled that I had never used before.
I popped the flower over over the front using foam adhesive. I like how this came out but I do not like the color the Stickles I used on the flower center dried.

For my second card, I used Match this Sketch #209 sketch to create my card.
Instead of stamping my background, I used a piece of gray patterned paper.
The sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink. I used My Favorite Things "Clearly Sentimental" and a flower from the "Beautiful Day" stamp set for inside of the card.

ReplyDeleteHugs and best wishes for 2018!
These are wonderful, Nora! Beautiful coloring! What a great challenge to use those images on cards this year. I tend to color while the family is watching an evening show. I have a box of images I am determined to use too.
ReplyDeleteI like your plan and I hope you can stick to it...it means we get to see more of your beautiful work!! These are lovely cards Nora. The lilac is a peaceful color and the big bloom just marvelous!
