It is FINALLY Friday!!!
After work today I have FOUR DAYS off in a row!! Yippee!! I really need to catch up on some sleep and cleaning my craft room. I read this week how someone took everything out and then put things back, purging as she went along. That would take me too long but I really need to get stuff off my floor.
Anyhow....here are a few more cards I created last weekend for Valentine's Day.
My first card was made just for Charlotte. We have an inside joke about how I "love her more then toast" so I knew when I saw these Doodlebug Die-cuts that I was using them for her Valentine.
She LOVED it, like I knew she would too!!
I added some clear sparkle marker and Glossy Accents on the butter and the hearts.
The background was made with an old embossing folder.
My next card I used the Lawn Fawn "Stinkin' Cute" set. It was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest but I can't find it now!!
I had colored in the skunk during the 30 Day Coloring Challenge and it was perfect for a Valentine!!
I think my favorite part is the little red Stickles on his nose!!
The LAST card I am posting today is another one I whipped together using odd and ends from my desk. It was totally CASE'd from a card that Yana Smakula created.
I apologize for the photos. I had a hard time taking pictures of the gold!!
I added some Nuvo Crystal drops in white around the card when all was done.
I am entering this into AAA cards "All You Need is Love" Challenge #108.
Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a FABULOUS day!!

I can see why Charlotte loved the 'toast' card!! It's adorable, and it's one of those family-insider sayings that will last for the years to come! Love the xo embossing behind the images!! And that little skunk (or as our family insiders say...snunk...) is most definitely cute!! Perfect on the gray base, too. Your last card must have taken ages to piece together, but soooo worth it! It's gorgeous all dressed in gold. Really great array of cards today! Have a wonderful weekend, and extra days off. Bev
ReplyDeleteWhat a CUTE card for your daughter...and the perfect images too! Your little stinker is adorable and the final card is beautiful. Love that incredible lacy image in the background!

Two cute cards, and then a gorgeous one! I love that you and Charlotte have that inside joke! My mom and I always had a inside saying, "I love you more than thing." I know, strange, but it's special to us. Your gold card looks gorgeous on my computer screen. This photo is very clear.

Great cards Nora - the toast one is so cute..no wonder she loved it! I was wondering how you made the 3rd one? I can't work out whether it's a doile die cut from gold CS? The effect you've made is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your fabulous Valentines cards. They are all adorable.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute design Nora, love the embossed background and toast. Your little stinker is adorable and the lacy background with the pretty heart is perfect.

Nora your first two card are so very cute, both the "loaf" and the skunk made me smile, and the last one was so beautiful with the gold stenciled design. Terrific cards! TFS!
