Hello everyone!! It is Nora here. Today I am sharing another card I created using Stamping Smiles Design Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #3. I LOVE this challenge card so much!! Remember in my first post how I said that I was going to create more cards using this card? Well I did!!
For my card, I used the bottom row across and included the elements stitching, flowers and used the sketch that was provided.
When I first saw this challenge, I KNEW right away I was going to have to make a card including this awesome sketch. However, as I always do, I interpreted it a little differently. First, I flipped the sketch:
I then eliminated the patterned paper around it. I LOVE sketches because you can do things like this to make it your own. The card below was what I came up with.
For the "stitching," I used a cross stitched heart embossing folder AND a piece of patterned paper that had stitched flowers over it.
For the sentiment focal point, I used die cut flowers and leaves from Lawn Fawn. I stamped and die cut a label from PaperTrey Ink and then stamped a sentiment from Mama Elephant over the top.
The flowers were adhered to the card using foam adhesive and covered in clear Wink of Stella to add a bit of shimmer. I also added some green pearls around them for added interest.
I cannot tell you how happy I am with this card. I cannot wait to send it out!! You have a couple more days before the challenge closes. Please add your to the original Stamping Smiles Design Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #3 blog post to play along.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a fabulous day!!

Nora this is so pretty, I love those LF Sunflowers. I need to pull them out again--wonderful colouring!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet...those sunflowers are fabulous and the cross stitched heart embossing folder?! I LOVE that....must find that.
ReplyDeleteYou should be very pleased with your card, Nora, it is just darling! LOve that embossing [but you knew I would] and the card base, too! Those little details on your sunflowers make such a difference - now if I could just keep a white jell pen from drying out!!!
