Happy Sunday!! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!! Mine was busy-some chores and fun mixed in together.
I spent the day yesterday ripping my bedroom closet apart and FINALLY changing my clothes from summer to winter. The weather has been so warm here that I wound up keeping all my 3/4 length sleeves sweaters out. I still have a box in the crawl space to get out too and am not sure where I am going to put the sweaters in there now. I threw out shoes, gave away a HUGE bag of clothes and have a few things that I am taking to consignment. I felt so good after!!
I also went shopping for a tablecloth for my thanksgiving table with no luck. I have an 60" round and with the leaves in the table it is 96" by 60" oval. Do you know how hard it is to get a table cloth for that size? Most table cloths are 60" across, let alone find an oval cloth. Anyway... I think I am going to have to resort to a table runner with placemats and then custom order the table cloth at a later date that I was trying not to have to order.
Today I went for a walk with my neighbor and a Stella and Dot party at a friend's house. I wound up buying something that I was not planning (isn't that how it always is?) I wound up getting the silver Sutton Necklace.
I also had time to do a couple of challenges while I uploaded a years worth of photos to Shutterfly. Yikes!! I created a sympathy card for a friend who lost her mother.
I used a new die by Tonic for the background flowers and the flower is from Altenew "Vintage Roses" set.
I am entering this into the House of Cards Challenge: Lots of Layers and/or Colors. I chose to use the colors in the image they showed.
I know my gray is more blue gray then brown gray but it is what I had. I am going to have to invest in some more brown gray inks I think!!
I am hoping they will accept this card anyway!!
My second card is for the Fusion Card Challenge: Fusion JOY.
I chose to use the sketch and the "Joy" sentiment on the card I created.
I used a My Favorite Things "Winter Wreath" die and the sentiment was die cut out of corrugated kraft card stock using the Wplus9 "Seasonal Sentiments" die.
I added some Nuvo "Bright Gold" crystal drops on the wreath, as well as some "Diamond" Stickles on the snowflake.
The gray Bazzill was from my scrap drawer and I die cut it with the Avery Elle "Wonky Stitches" die.
Well, that is all from me tonight. I hope you have a great week!!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Inspiration
Happy Saturday everyone!! I cannot believe that this Thursday is already THANKSGIVING!! So crazy!!!
Today I am here to show you a card I created using CAS-ual Fridays Stamps "Mistletoe and Holly" stamp set.
I had this idea in my head to stamp the main mistletoe image in Versarmark ink onto white Bristol paper in a continuous pattern and heat emboss with white embossing powder. I then used my Zig's to do a little watercoloring.
At first, I was going to stay in the lines but it looked too plain so I got a bit messy. I also used the markers to splatter paint over the front of the card using a brush to brush technique with my paintbrush and the Zig's.
I did some masking for the sentiment. I did not have a good green ink pad to match the mistletoe so I used the same green Zig marker I painted with by it brushing right on the sentiment stamp and then stamping. It stamped better then I thought it would!!
I added glossy accents over the berries to give them a bit of shine.
To jazz it up, I adhered a strip of plaid pattern paper to the bottom of the panel and tied some red twine around the card so it overlapped both the white and the patterned paper. I mounted the card front using foam adhesive onto an A2, top folding card.
The couldn't let a card go without adding some sequins, could I? My las step was to add a few in red, white and green to match the accents and it was complete.

Calling All Sistah's November Blog Hop
It is the 17th of November and time for another Calling All Sistah's Blog Hop!! You should have come here from Lori's blog.
This blog hop is to remind everyone to check your breasts monthly and to remind women to get your yearly mammogram. Michele, the owner of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps is a breast cancer survivor and wants to spread the word on breast cancer awareness, hence our monthly blog hops!!
The card I created for this month is pretty simple.
First I inked up a white card panel with two different colored pink inks. I then mounted it onto a pink, top folding A2 sized card.
Next, I stamped sentiments from the "Calling all Sistahs" and "Hope Ribbon" stamp set in different pink inks onto white card stock. I then die cut the stamped paper with the "Ruffled Ribbon" Fri-Die. I mounted it onto the inked card front using foam adhesive to give it some dimension.
I then stamped a sentiment in black dye ink from the "Hope Ribbon" stamp set onto a white card stock strip. I adhered the strip onto the card using foam adhesive. My last step was to adhere some various sized sequins in different shades of pink around the ribbon.
Want to join us on our hop next month? Please join our Facebook group to get all the information!!
The stamps I used are available at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. Michele designed these stamps to promote breast cancer awareness and donates 50% of the proceeds from the "Calling All Sistahs" Collection to programs that promote breast cancer research and awarness. For a discount on the stamps, use my code nora2016 to get 15% off your total order at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.
Next up on the hop is Penny.
I thank you for taking the time to stop by today. Have a fabulous Thursday!!

25 Tags of Occassion Inspiration and TGIF Challenge #81
Just a quick post so that I can get these challenges that I created this weekend up. I actually had a bit of inspiration!!
The first is my tag that was inspired by Laura's tag from Lil' Inker Designs.
I chose to use a blue and white color scheme rather then red and white. I did not have the products that Laura used so I improvised. I used the "Flurry" Fri-die and the "Tag Buddies" Fri-dies from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps for this tag.
I am entering this in Tracey McNeely's "25 Tags of Christmas" challenge that she has on her blog.
If you have not stopped by, RUN. There are some AWESOME tags on her blog!!
I also made a card for the TGIF #18.
I used My Favorite Things "Soda Pop" stamps and dies to create this. I created the bottles by smooshing distress ink and die cutting with the "Soda Pop" dies.
I had a lot of fun using stuff from my stash on this card. I dug out my Doodlebug Paper Frills in green for the border.
I also used a sticker that I had lying around for the sentiment. It looks wonky in this photo but I fixed it so it is now straight!!
Well, that is all for tonight!! Thank you for stopping by!!

Stamping Smiles Designs Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #22
Hello everyone!! I hope you are all having a fabulous Wednesday!!
It is the 16th of the month so that means another Stamping Smiles Designs Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge!! We are here with Challenge #22.
For my card, I chose to use the first column down-bling, white on white and scene. I apologize for the photography. It was hard to take photos of white on white!!
I started off by die cutting my scene with PaperTrey Ink's "Scene It: Skyscapes Die Collection" out of white card stock. I paired it with the "Scene It: Everyday" die. I layered these together and then over a die cut circle, also cut out of white card stock.
I then stamped the sentiment from PaperTrey Ink's "Petite Places: Church" in Hero Arts "Soft Granite" ink onto one of the layers and tucked in a church was die cut with the matching die. I used some "Diamond" Stickles to add some sparkle to the windows.
When the Stickles was dry, I adhered the scene onto a pinked circle that I cut out using the My Favorite Things "Pinked Circle" die. I added some "Clear" Wink of Stella on the sun rays coming over the hill, though this was so hard for me to get in any of my photos.
I set the completed scene aside and worked on my card. I used a Lifestyle heart embossing folder to emboss the hearts and then die cut the white panel with the "Blue Prints #13" die from My Favorite Things. I used satin ribbon to make a bow at the left side of the card.
I then adhered the scene over the card front. I added a few clear sequins to complete the card.
I LOVE how this card came out and it was surprisingly quick to put together since I used dies. I hope this inspires you to come on over to Stamping Smiles Designs Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge and play with us for Challenge #22!
Have a WONDERFUL day!!
