A NEW Challenge-Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #639

Hello Friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #639 is a COLOR challenge-RED, WHITE and BLUE.

Instead of making a July 4th card, I decided to use the Jam Packed Stamp/Die set from Hero Arts, combined with pattern paper for my creation. I would have linked it but alas, it is retired.

I adored these tiny stamps and had so much making this card!!! The embossed background was done using the Burlap embossing folder from Honey Bee Stamps. I am not going to lie-this is one of MY FAVORITE embossing folders!!! I am on a distressed edge kick for all my cards lately. I think it looks great under these pattern papers.

The label that the stamped images are on is the Love to Layer: Soft Ridges Dies from PaperTrey Ink. The blue gingham is from the Classic Gingham 6” by 6” paper pack from Sunny Studios.

A NEW Challenge-Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #637

Hello Friends!!!

I LOVED making this card! Why? Because I used a background panel that I had stenciled YEARS ago from my stash!!! It made the card making process so easy!!!

The products I used were from The Greetery. I kind of stretched the peaches and cream color for this. I used vanilla cardstock for the back of my die cut sentiment, as well as the panel under the peaches.

These products go together but alas, are retired. This card was so fun to create!!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #611

 Hey Friends!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #611 is a COLOR challenge. Create a card using the colors RED, BLACK and WHITE.

We have a sponsor this round-Last Minute Manda. I used one of the adorable dogs from her Little Valentine Digital Dog Set that she generously gifted the Design Team.

I printed this puppy out larger than I usually do because I wanted him to be the showcase of the card.

I colored in my dog with Copic Markers and cut it out. I layered it over some pattern papers from an old paper pack by Bo Bunny Press.

I added some tags and a "stamp" from the Ticket Essentials by 49 & Market. I adhered die cut hearts over the top of them and covered them with Glossy Accents.

I used the Gathering Stitches Etched Dies and the Faux Embroidered Pumpkin Etched Dies for this creation. I have fallen in love!! 

Years ago I used to cross stitch and these dies just brought out the memories for me.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #605

I had a lot of fun using some new to me Spellbinders products. I used Faux Embroidered Pumpkins and Gathering Stitches Dies for my creation.

My green is a little off, I must say but it was the best I could do with what I had in my stash.

I do love how this came out and will be making more at a later date. I probably should not have added the witches hat but I thought it was too cute not to use.

There is Still Time to Play at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #576

Hello Friends!!

I am just popping in with a reminder that there is still time to play with us at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #576. This week starts a new round and it is a COLOR CHALLENGE. 

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #576 is all about using the colors TURQUOISE, RED, and YELLOW on a project.

I used digital images from Lucky Birthday Wishes set created by this weeks sponsor, CraftyScrappers.

I combined the digital images of the dog, the birthday hat and the birthday cake in Photoshop for my card. I printed it out on white cardstock and colored the images in with Copic Markers. I then cut the whole image out with scissors.

I used foam adhesive to layer the dog image over an ink blended background and stamped a sentiment using an MFT sentiment stamp at the bottom. I added Glossy Accents over the polka dots in the hat and some Orange Peel Stickles on the candle flame to complete this card.

A New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenges-Challenge #576

Hello Friends!!!

I am just popping in today with a card that I created for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #576. This week starts a new round and it is a COLOR CHALLENGE. 

Can you guess the colors used this week? Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #576 is all about using the colors TURQUOISE, RED, and YELLOW on a project.

I created my card with some images that were generously donated to us by our sponsor-Crafty Scrappers.

The dog and the balloon were just two of the images donated to our team. I created the little box in Photoshop so that the pup could peek out

The background was created using ink blending and a background stamp from MFT.

All the images were then colored in using Copic Markers. The sentiment was from my stash that I had stamped and cut out with a word balloon.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #536-a Theme Challenge

 Happy Monday everyone!! Today I am here with another challenge from The Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog. This week it is a THEME CHALLENGE. It was to use Mint and Pink on our card.

Below is the Challenge Badge for #536.

We have a sponsor with use this week. Paper Nest Dolls generously sent an image for us to use on our card. There will be a random drawing for a prize of three images of the winners choice.

This image is called Avery with Hearts. I colored her in with a combination of Copic Markers and colored pencils. I then combined two sentiments to create my sentiment block.

I die cut the image out and layered it over scraps of pattern paper.
