A New THEME Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge

 Hello Crafty Friends!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #620 is a THEME challenge-FISH.

I finally used my Altnew Calming Koi stamp/die set that I had in my stash!! This was perfect for this challenge.

Below is the Challenge Badge for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #620:

The water I created using the Tim Holtz Crackle Stencil:

I measured off a rectangle, used Pinkfresh Sky Blue Ink, lifted up the stencil and moved it slightly and inked over the original.

I think the water came out so cool!! I had a stencil for water somewhere but I couldn't find it. I will be spending some time this summer organizing my craft room again so things like this won't be missing.

For the greenery, I die cut a scrap of rice paper and some green pattern paper. I adhered each to my card, with the fish in between the two. My finishing touch was to use some Clear Nuvo Drops for some bubbles. I LOVE how this card came out!!

There is a NEW Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge

 Hey Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #619 is a COLOR challenge. Create a project using the colors  PEACH and RED.

We have a sponsor this round-Polka Doodles! They generously donated the image I used for my card.

Isn't this gnome adorable? I had to mix some of my Copic's to make a "peach" color for the flowers.

This gnome was so fun to color in. I have been using a ton of die cuts and ink blending on my cards so coloring with my Copic Markers was just relaxing.

I die cut my gnome with the Essential Arch Dies from Spellbinders. The sentiment is from my stash. I am sorry that I cannot remember who it is made by.

There is Still Time to Join us for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #618-TREES

 Happy Monday Crafty Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card to remind you that there is still time to play with this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #618 is a THEME CHALLENGE-TREES.

I chose to create a Christmas card for this week. All the supplies were on my desk, with the exception of the snowflake embossed background.

Below is the Challenge Badge for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #618:

This card was so quick to put together!! I started off with an embossed snowflake panel that I adhered to an A2 sized card base. I then added the green frame.

Next I adhered the white frame over the green. The tree die cut was next. I decided to add some white Nuvo Glitter over the top for a "snowy" look.

The Concord & 9th sentiment was adhered using foam adhesive to complete this card. Now I have another card to add to my stash for Christmas this year!!!

There is Time for a New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!

 Hey Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #616 is a THEME challenge-TREES.

I actually created TWO cards for this week. I used the Strong Oak Stencil and Die from Altnew for this card. Below is the Challenge Badge for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #618:

What was fun about making this card was I stenciled the whole tree on a panel, die cut it out and then cut it in two. This made it so I could make TWO cards from one die cut!!!

This was such a fun way to make easy, masculine cards!!!

I made a sympathy card with one. I used the same stencil for the grass and added some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the sky.

My second card I popped up a sentiment banner to finish off my card. I definatly will be using this set again soon!!!

There is Still Time to Play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #617

Hello Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card to remind you that there is still time to play with this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #617 is a COLOR challenge. Create a project using the colors LAVENDER and SAGE.

This card was a lot of fun to create. I used stencils, stamps and ink blending for the background. I then used some Soot and Bundled Sage Distress Stain to flick over the green.

I know the color purple is a bit more blue than lavender but I assure you I used the Hero Arts Lavender Ink for my blending on the Poppy Stamps Nordic Belle Butterfly.

The sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps and the leaf die cut is Simon Says Stamp.

There is a NEW CHALLENGE at Cupcake Inspirations-Challenge #617

 Hello Crafty Friends!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #617 is a COLOR challenge. Create a project using the colors  LAVENDER and SAGE.

I am going to come clean-this one was a tough one for me. I didn't have the "perfect" ink for the lavender color I wanted so I used what I had.

Below is the color badge for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #617:

I started off my card by using the Waffle Flower Mod Blossoms Die to die cut a white panel. I then used the matching stencil, combined with Hero Arts Lavender Fields ink and a Bundled Sage Distress Ink to color it in.

I then experimented with Simon Hurley's Royal Flush Solar Paste over the flowers. It wasn't an even coverage, as you can see, but I liked the texture it gave them the panel.

When the flowers were dry, I adhered it over an A2 card base that had an embossed, canvas texture. The last step was to adhere the Concord and 9th Sentiment strips.

 Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #616 is a THEME challenge-FRIENDSHIP.

We have a sponsor this round-ALL DRESSED UP.

This shop generously donated the image that I used on my card below.

I had so much fun coloring this in with Copic Markers. I added the sentiment in from my computer.

Below is the inspiration badge for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #616:

I also used Sarah Renae Clark color card for the color inspiration.

The butterfly is from an old Martha Stewart punch with a teal jewel in the middle.

The pattern paper is from Paper Trey Ink that was in my stash.

Happy Saturday with Some Cards

 Hey Friends!!

I am just popping in with some cards I created for some challenges. I happened to have had Spring Break this week and was able to play in my craft room!!!

My first card was inspired by this week's Freshly Made Sketches #682, The Color Throwdown #831 and The Tic Tac Toe Challenge #268-the middle of the card-any color, free and embossing.

My coral color is a bit of a darker coral than I had anticipated. It was all I had so I went with it. The die cut flowers are from the Stamp Market, the "happy" sentiment is Woodware Crafts.

I had fun creating the sage area of the card. I first inked a white panel of cardstock with Bundled Sage Distress Ink. I then layered  stamps and stencils over the top. The last touch was to take some Nuvo Crystal Drops and a stencil to create the dots.

My next card I used Sketch #558 from the CAS Colours and Sketch Challenge for my card inspiration.

I dug out patten paper from 49 & Market for my border, and cut a strip of polka dot paper for the tiny strip.

The ephemera is also from 49 & Market. I used foam tape to layer it on top of each other.

I was going to leave the panel white but it just didn't look right so I used a Linen embossing folder from Altenew for the texture.

For my last card, I used the Beautiful Blossoms Challenge #28-anything goes and The Flower Challenge #101-use spring colors-as inspiration for my card.

I have been getting the Simon Says Stamp kit for the last few months. I decided to use the Beautiful Blossoms Kit for this card.

I used the Paper Rose paper for the background-using a Distress Tool to rough up the edges. I then stamped and used a stencil to color in the flower.

I die cut it using the coordination die and adhered it over a stenciled background.

I die cut the golden yellow cardstock that came in the kit with the Pinkfresh Studio Ornate Oval Frame to frame my flower bunch. The last step was to add a sentiment from The Ton.

It was so nice to have time to make multiple cards this week using some of my supplies that I have had in my stash. I needed this to calm my mind!!!

I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!
