Fall Cards

 Happy Saturday!

Just popping in with some cards that I created using a mixture of old and new products created for some challenges.

I had fun creating this using a bunch of stuff from my stash. I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #703 and the Inspired By #353 Challenge as my inspiration.

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp!, and the embossing folder is Falling Leaves from Spellbinders.

My second card I used this weeks Color Throwdown #840 and CAS on Friday#317-Fall.

I had fun using the Postage Stamps Folder and Dies from Spellbinders.

Once again I used the same embossing folder by Spellbinders. The ginkgo leaves are from The Greetery.

I ink blended the leaves with Distress Ink in Mustard Seed and Peeled Paint.

My last card I created because I had extra ginkgo and the rectangle frame on my desk.

The sentiment is from PinkFresh Studio. The pattern paper is from Newton's Nook.

Not sure I like the orange paper for my sentiment but the other colors I tried just didn't look great. This was the best of the worse.

Well, that is all from me today. Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Let It Snow Card

 Hey Friends!!

Just popping in with a card that I created for a couple of challenges. This is my last weekend of freedom as school starts this week and I have to start on Monday. I don't want to go back to work!!! I enjoyed my time off this summer not doing much-including all the cleaning I planned to do.

My card was inspired by TWO challenges. I had to play with this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #700. Can you believe they have been around for FOURTEEN years? I love sketches and am so happy that they are still posting new ones after all this time. I did not want to create a square card so I decided to make an A2 size. My snowman replaces the center square.

The other challenge that inspired me was this weeks  The Color Throwdown #839.

I dug through my stash and pulled out some things that I never used. I dug out the Simon Says Stamp Village Snowman dies for my central image.

The embossed background I created using Seaside Cardstock from Spellbinders and the Snowflake Visions Embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp. I then used some Hero Arts Unicorn Ink and Pinkfresh Studio  Aquamarine over the top with a light hand. Before I adhered the panel to a white card base, I distressed the edges.

The squares were die cut from paper scraps. I added some snowflakes from my stash. I am ADDICTED to snowflake dies and I probably have about 15 different sets. Some contain multiple types of snowflakes in style and size, and others only contain one snowflake die. Are anyone else obsessed with snowflake dies?

My sentiment is from the Christmas 2023 Tim Holtz Sticker Set. I added it using foam adhesive. The last thing I did was add Deco Art Snow-Tex to my snowman. I LOVE how this came out!!

That is all from me. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Popping in With Some Cards for Challenges

Hello Friends!!

Today I am popping in with some cards for some challenges. I had fun using some new things that I received this week. I  NEED to stop shopping!

My first card I created for the Inspired By Challenge #348. I was inspired by the colors in the photo.

I used the pattern paper Hidden Creek by Arden Creative Studio and the matching ephemera pack.

I added some Stickles on the leaves, on the flowers and on the butterfly to give them a little bit of oomph.

I used a dry embossing folder from Honey Bee Stamps on the pattern paper for my background and did a bit of distressing on the edge. I love how this card came out!

My second card was inspired by this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #698 and The Color Throwdown #838.

I used a Simon Says Stamp dry embossing folder Shimmering Stars on Spellbinders Wild Berry Cardstock. I apologize because I had a tough time photographing this card.

I used the Spellbinders Flags and Banners die set for my elements. I used the colors of the Color Throwdown Challenge on my dies.

I used the combination of Mowed Lawn and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and MFT Peach Bellini to color in my dies.

I then added some gems in the three colors to complete my cards.

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

A Few Challenges

Hey Peeps!!!

Just popping in with some cards I created for some challenges. I have been busy using paper, stamps, dies and stencils that I have had in my stash for a long time.

For my first card, I used this weeks sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for TWO Christmas cards.

The first one I created used the sketch as it was. I used some papers from an old paper pad and a snowman from Mama Elephants Little Agenda Snowmen.

The die cut sentiment is from My Favorite Things. The stamped sentiment is from Hello Bluebird.

The stencils I used is from Echo Park.

My second card was inspired by the same sketch but I moved the white tag down more to the bottom.

The gnome is from Mama Elephant, the speech bubble from Hello Bluebird, and the die cut "merry" is from Sunny Studios.

The snowflakes are from a bunch of snowflake dies that I have die cut in large amounts.

My next card I used the sketch from TGIF Challenges. I used sketch #481 as my inspiration.

The elf is from My Favorite Things and the sentiment and snowflake element are from 49 and Market.

The pattern paper is one from my stash. Below is the sketch I used for my card.

My last card I created using a sketch from Try Stampin On Tuesday. However, I was too late to enter. I am also entering it into the Jingle Bells Challenge-Embossing Challenge.

I used a combination of products on this card. A My Favorite Things sentiment and bear, a Hello Bluebird Tree, and a bunch of snowflakes from different companies.

The embossing folder is from Honey Bee Stamps-one of my favorite in my stash.

This was so fun to make. That is all from me today. I hope you all have a great day!!

A Couple of Challenges

(Some links in this are Affiliate Links used a no extra cost to you)

Hi Friends!!! Hope you are all having a great weekend. Just popping in with a few cards for some challenges. I have been trying to get in my craft room more this year and I have been doing a good job at keeping it up. I should be cleaning it up but instead I have been playing.

The first card I created for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #619

I took a few liberties on this sketch, I do like how this card came out. Instead of a square shape, I used a curved arch die.

One of my other goals this year is to use the supplies that I have instead of buying stuff that I don't need. For this card, I used the December 2023 Small Die of the Month Club from Spellbinders called Sneaking a Kiss

The heart border was cut on my Silhouette Machine and was in my scraps. The navy heart paper was a from a Honey Bee Stamps free paper pack that I got with an order.

I loved that I was able to use a ton of scraps for all these die cuts!!!

My second card was inspired by the Inspired By Challenge-Blue

I LOVED the blue shutters and the mosaic tile. I also used the sketch loosely on my card.

When I saw this challenge, I knew I had to use my Granny Square Dies from Altenew and some of their old cube inks-Lapus Lazuli.

I know, I know, these Granny Squares are supposed to be knit but they screamed mosaic to me! My favorite color is blue and I had so much fun making this card.

The sentiments were from my stash and I have no clue who created them. The embossing folder is my NEW FAVORITE from Honey Bee Stamps-Burlap

My last card I am entering into this round of The Christmas Kickstart Challenge #82-The Midas Touch.

I apologize for the photos from this card. I had such a hard time photographing it.

Most of the die cuts on this card are from The Greetery. The embossed background is from Spellbinders-Holly and Foliage Embossing Folder.

I used Tim Holtz Tarnished Brass Mica Spray on the background because it matched the antique gold paper I used on the bow and strip at the bottom.

Well that is all from me today. I have to get ready to go with my friend to a psychic show. I don't know if I really believe in it but I keep an open mind!! Have a FABULOUS night!!
