Fall Cards

 Happy Saturday!

Just popping in with some cards that I created using a mixture of old and new products created for some challenges.

I had fun creating this using a bunch of stuff from my stash. I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #703 and the Inspired By #353 Challenge as my inspiration.

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp!, and the embossing folder is Falling Leaves from Spellbinders.

My second card I used this weeks Color Throwdown #840 and CAS on Friday#317-Fall.

I had fun using the Postage Stamps Folder and Dies from Spellbinders.

Once again I used the same embossing folder by Spellbinders. The ginkgo leaves are from The Greetery.

I ink blended the leaves with Distress Ink in Mustard Seed and Peeled Paint.

My last card I created because I had extra ginkgo and the rectangle frame on my desk.

The sentiment is from PinkFresh Studio. The pattern paper is from Newton's Nook.

Not sure I like the orange paper for my sentiment but the other colors I tried just didn't look great. This was the best of the worse.

Well, that is all from me today. Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Another Snowman Card

(Some links in the post are Affiliate Links used at no extra cost to you.)

Hello Crafty Friends!!!

Happy Sunday! I am popping in with another card for some challenges.

The challenges that inspired this card are The Sketch n' Scrap Challenge and I used the sketch #238 for my card. I also was inspired by The Color Throwdown #839 and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Stitch it.

The "stitches" are created using a Spellbinders Winter Borders die set. I used the colors in a lighter shade of aqua on my card instead of the dark color.

The pattern paper is Penny Black's Festive & Frosty Pad. The embossed background I created using Spellbinders Seaside Cardstock and a Simon Says Stamp! Snowflake Visions embossing folder. I then brushed some Hero Arts Unicorn White Ink over the top.

The snowman is the Village Snowman die from Simon Says Stamp. The polka dot pattern paper is from my stash and I die cut it using a Pinkfresh Studio die set.

That is all from me. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Let It Snow Card

 Hey Friends!!

Just popping in with a card that I created for a couple of challenges. This is my last weekend of freedom as school starts this week and I have to start on Monday. I don't want to go back to work!!! I enjoyed my time off this summer not doing much-including all the cleaning I planned to do.

My card was inspired by TWO challenges. I had to play with this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #700. Can you believe they have been around for FOURTEEN years? I love sketches and am so happy that they are still posting new ones after all this time. I did not want to create a square card so I decided to make an A2 size. My snowman replaces the center square.

The other challenge that inspired me was this weeks  The Color Throwdown #839.

I dug through my stash and pulled out some things that I never used. I dug out the Simon Says Stamp Village Snowman dies for my central image.

The embossed background I created using Seaside Cardstock from Spellbinders and the Snowflake Visions Embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp. I then used some Hero Arts Unicorn Ink and Pinkfresh Studio  Aquamarine over the top with a light hand. Before I adhered the panel to a white card base, I distressed the edges.

The squares were die cut from paper scraps. I added some snowflakes from my stash. I am ADDICTED to snowflake dies and I probably have about 15 different sets. Some contain multiple types of snowflakes in style and size, and others only contain one snowflake die. Are anyone else obsessed with snowflake dies?

My sentiment is from the Christmas 2023 Tim Holtz Sticker Set. I added it using foam adhesive. The last thing I did was add Deco Art Snow-Tex to my snowman. I LOVE how this came out!!

That is all from me. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Happy Saturday with Some Cards

 Hey Friends!!

I am just popping in with some cards I created for some challenges. I happened to have had Spring Break this week and was able to play in my craft room!!!

My first card was inspired by this week's Freshly Made Sketches #682, The Color Throwdown #831 and The Tic Tac Toe Challenge #268-the middle of the card-any color, free and embossing.

My coral color is a bit of a darker coral than I had anticipated. It was all I had so I went with it. The die cut flowers are from the Stamp Market, the "happy" sentiment is Woodware Crafts.

I had fun creating the sage area of the card. I first inked a white panel of cardstock with Bundled Sage Distress Ink. I then layered  stamps and stencils over the top. The last touch was to take some Nuvo Crystal Drops and a stencil to create the dots.

My next card I used Sketch #558 from the CAS Colours and Sketch Challenge for my card inspiration.

I dug out patten paper from 49 & Market for my border, and cut a strip of polka dot paper for the tiny strip.

The ephemera is also from 49 & Market. I used foam tape to layer it on top of each other.

I was going to leave the panel white but it just didn't look right so I used a Linen embossing folder from Altenew for the texture.

For my last card, I used the Beautiful Blossoms Challenge #28-anything goes and The Flower Challenge #101-use spring colors-as inspiration for my card.

I have been getting the Simon Says Stamp kit for the last few months. I decided to use the Beautiful Blossoms Kit for this card.

I used the Paper Rose paper for the background-using a Distress Tool to rough up the edges. I then stamped and used a stencil to color in the flower.

I die cut it using the coordination die and adhered it over a stenciled background.

I die cut the golden yellow cardstock that came in the kit with the Pinkfresh Studio Ornate Oval Frame to frame my flower bunch. The last step was to add a sentiment from The Ton.

It was so nice to have time to make multiple cards this week using some of my supplies that I have had in my stash. I needed this to calm my mind!!!

I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Popping in With a Few Challenge Cards

Hey Friends!!! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

I am popping in with a few cards I created for some challenges. One of my New Year's goals was to create more cards for challenges so here I am!!!

My first card I created for two challenges. I used the colors from The Color Throwdown #725 and the TGIF Challenges #403.

The Color Throwdown  was to use the colors red, green and brown on a project.

The TGIF Challenge this week was a sketch challenge, which I decided to make it portrait angle.

For my card, I used a Stampin Up! embossing folder, a Simon Says Stamp die cut and a Kat Scrappiness leaf.

I added some clear sparkle pen inside the Copic colored flowers and Glossy Accents.

One of my other goals is to use products that I already have colored in, die cut or stamped. I have sixteen small drawers where I put these "extras" as I call them and my goal is to use them up.

For my second card, I created with my extras.

Instead of a white background, I used embossed a piece of red cardstock. I used the same Simon Says Stamp! flower die and a leaf from Kat Scrappiness.

The sentiment is from The Ton.

For my next card, I created for the Global Design Team Project challenge.

The challenge was to CASE the image below.

I used some white embossing ink on a Tim Holtz Alterations embossing folder and embossed a piece of purple cardstock.

The intricate flower die is from Altenew and the butterfly is from Pinkfresh Studio. Everything, besides the embossed background, was from my "extra" drawer.

Well, that is all from me today!!! I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Have a FABULOUS day!!

Just a Quick Pop In With Cards for Some Challenges

It is Sunday night here and I am exhausted. I stayed up all night last night because I got into such a GREAT book.

I am a romance junky-I got that from my mother. I read other things but when things get too stressful-and they have been with the tropical storm last week and the terrible plans that the state DOES NOT have for our school systems to go back (which we are), I have been totally stressed out. Anyway, I made these cards yesterday but didn't have the energy to post them until tonight.

My first card was inspired by two challenges-CASE this Sketch #384 and The Color Throwdown #605.

I kind of "flipped" the sketch in that I used my butterflies as the main image, rather than a branch. I used the little flower images as the accents.

The butterfly stamp is my new favorite stamp, I think. It is Hero Arts Monarch Butterfly. I used Lawn Fawn's Peachy Keen, MFT's Cherry and Blueberry Ink for this card.
The sentiment is from Altenew's Label Love stamp set.
When I was finished with my stamping, I die cut the panel using The Greetery's Crimped Frame Dies and layered it on a dark blue card base.
I finished off the card with some sequins and Diamond Stickles in the middle.

For my second card, I used the Fusion Card Challenge as my inspiration for my card.
I chose to use the sketch but flipped it and using fruit on my card was the inspiration, just not the fruit from the photo.
I used The Greetery's Just Peachy stencils, dies and stamps for this card. I think this card may be a bit too busy for me BUT unfortunately I used some strong liquid glue that I cannot rip this apart without damaging the background. That stenciled background took me a long time to complete!!
I used a TON of different inks on this-too many to even name. The little strips of pattern paper and cardstock are just scraps from my stash.
I have to admit that this was a TON OF FUN to play with. I cannot wait to use this on some other cards but will not be using the stamps and the background's together again like this.

Well, that is all from me tonight. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a great night!!
