Hello everyone!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!
My weekend was full of fun with friends and getting my daughter ready for her Junior Prom. I have to say that she was absolutely beautiful...and I think she felt like she was. Not only did she look fabulous in her dress but we got her hair done and it was so cool to watch the process. I think I loved her hair more then the dress!! Here are some photos of her:
I was so happy she had a blast!! Charlotte originally was not going to go but her friend's date fell through and she begged her to go with her. After, the parent organization put on a breakfast for the kids until 2 am. They do this so to discourage the students from going to drinking parties. They had food, a DJ, prizes-it is a huge production. Charlotte only chose to stay until 1 am as she was exhausted!!
Enough about prom!! I FINALLY have a card today!! I am playing along with AAA Cards #89.
I used the feathers (created birds) as my jumping off point and chose to use red as my bright and beautiful color on my card.
I used Lawn Fawn's "Love Letters" stamps/dies to create this card. The images were colored in with Copic Markers and then die cut with the coordinating dies.
I created the background of the scene using some cheap watercolors I had lying around.
I layered a circle over the scene and then popped the colored images over that. I LOVE how this came out!!
That is all for me tonight!! I thank you for stopping by!! Have a FABULOUS Monday!!

Super cute image, beautifully placed and coloured. Your daughter also fits our theme of bright and beautiful, how gorgeous does she look! Thanks for playing at AAA Cards and good luck with the DT call.

She's beautiful! And her hair and dress are simply amazing!! So glad she went and had a good time, too! One of our city's Rotary Clubs sponsors an all night event beginning when the different schools proms end. It's a really big deal and the kids love it. It really does work to keep the kids safe, too. Your card is adorable! Love those little LF birds and how you've made everything so bright and happy. That red envelope is particularly striking. A sweet and fun card! Bev

Adorable card! Good luck with the DT call!!
I have to enjoy it through your photos - because I have boys who are anti-prom. (Of course, if either had a girlfriend, I'm sure that would be different!) She's lovely - not just the hair and dress - but she's positively glowing!!
LOVE your card! Little scenes of multiple stamps or dies are my favorite style to do - and I'm inspired by your grouping in the circle - and the ground and sky in the background.
Oh my gosh, Charlotte looks absolutely gorgeous in her prom dress, Nora! Her hair and her dress are really beautiful, too! So glad she had such a good time...we're only young once, right?
Such a cute card! I love that you chose those adorable birds to represent the feathers and your Copic coloring is perfect! Love it!!!
