Quick Post With Some NEW Cards

Hey friends!!  

I am just popping in with some new cards. The beauty of having summers off is that I actually get a lot of time in my craft room!!!

My first card is to enter Freshly Made Sketches #591-and I am telling you that it is a stretch but it is MY TAKE on the sketch-and it is not an exact interpretation.

Below is the sketch:

See what I mean about the "interpretation" part? I have playing around with products that I have cut, colored, die cut, stamped etc over the past months but never used in a card. This is one of  the cards I made for a set using Pinkfresh Studio Arch Floral Stamps and matching Dies. 

The "frame" is also a PinkFresh Studio stamp-Around The Shape Arches, paired with Floral Grid and Nested Arch Dies.

Last but not least, the bird is from Lawn Fawn's Magic Iris Bird House Add On. The pattern paper is from an old Recollections Paper Pad that I have had forever.

My next card is a day late and a dollar short. I created it for Tuesday Morning Sketches #712. 

Again, I went a little overboard with this sketch. 

The flowers are from Pinkfresh Studio's Arch Floral Stamps and Dies, the sentiment is from Spellbinders, as is the embossing folder.

I used Copic Markers to shade in my leaves. The doily and tiny envelope are from my stash.

 Again, this is one of a set I created for my friend.

A New Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!!

Hey Friends!! It is time for a NEW Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Challenge #572 is a COLOR challenge. Can you guess what ones from my card????

The green is an extra color but Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #972 is all about using RED, WHITE, and BLUE on a card!!!

Okay, okay, I probably should have stuck to the badge but I really am not a fan of using only red, white and blue on a card. 

I don't send out patriotic cards for holidays so I went with coloring in my tulips red, the background blue and using white/red elements on my card. 

The tulips stamp is a background from Simon Says Stamp! The border was in my stash so I am not sure of the company. The sentiment is from  Pink Fresh Studio and the rick rack is a die from MFT Stamps.

I created this CAS with a stamp that is very old. I saw some cards on IG with this fun Joe Cool stamp and I had to have it.

I think this makes a perfect Father's Day card!!! The sentiment is from my stash.

Just a Quick Post

Hey friends!! Just a quick post to upload my card for The Color Throwdown Challenge #746.

It was to use the colors below. 

I used Pink Fresh Studio's Intricate Stitched Ovals, Arch Florals, Around the Shape Arches and Pretty Frames 2 for my card.

I colored my flowers in with Copic Markers. I did make a boo boo on the right hand side of the card and had to add some more sequins that I didn't plan on. I love how it came out.

There is a New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenges!!

There is a new challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenges this week. Challenge #571 is a theme challenge-Father's Day/or Someone Special Masculine.

I chose to do a card that could be used for birthdays, going away, even Father's Day, depending on what sentiment you choose to use on this inside.

My card was originally made for a kid that I work with that was moving on to greater things. I chose to use the colors I did because they were festive and I LOVED how they went together. 

The pinata is from Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things. The fringe die is also from MFT but I believe is retired.

Hello friends!!

My card below uses a sentiment by this weeks sponsor-Your Next Stamp. 

The Whatnot Sentiment Stamp Set from Your Next Stamp is one of my FAVORITES.

I have used this particular sympathy stamp on at least ten other cards. It is my go to sympathy sentiment.

I paired the stamped sentiment with a flower from Pinkfresh Studio and a background from Memory Box.

I added some sequins around the sentiment for some emphasis.
