A Halloween Hello for Freshly Made Sketches #357

Happy Friday!! I hope you are all having a fabulous day!!

Today I am popping in to post a card I created for Freshly Made Sketches #357.

The images used are from the My Favorite Things original Witch Way Candy? stamp set. I stamped and masked the images onto a page from an old book.

I then used Prismacolor pencils to color the witch and the cat. I actually am not happy with the way it came out. I couldn't shade the pencils that well on this type of paper.

Here is the sketch that I used as inspiration for my card.

The patterned paper is from a defunct company Little Yellow Bicycle. The orange cardstock is Bazzill Papaya. Instead of the sentiment strip going all the way down to the bottom, I chose to cut the bottom on an angle. This card will be sent to my daughter at college with the candy jars from yesterday's post and a bunch of Halloween decorations.

On another note, here is a card I created combining My Favorite Things Penguins in Paradise, Mama Elephant's Swinging Borders and a  Celebrate sentiment by Waffle Flower.

All the coloring I did with Copic markers and then covered in Diamond Stickles. If you look closely behind the sentiment, I did make a bit of a mess with the Copics. However, I am still going to use this but will give this to family.

That is all from me today. I will be participating in World Cardmaking Day tomorrow. I don't know where there are any challenges anymore but I will be making some cards.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

These are both adorable Nora! I like the little witch stamped over the text background. The little bits of it peeking through here and there add so much interest! And that little penguin is extra sweet!

Wow this little witch is totally adorable! I love how you stamped it over a book page. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
