I am back with another project for the October 2019
CAS-ual Fridays Stamps release.
Today I am showcasing the new stamp set
Hearty Horse. I bet you are looking at the above card and wondering how the heck I used this set!!!
I got a little creative when I saw this and knew I wanted to make flowers with that tiny, solid heart!!
I created my flowers by die cutting a small circle out of a piece of copy paper and stamping the heart around the circle using different fall colored dye inks. I then made a stencil out of where I had die cut the circle and stenciled the flower centers with two types of brown Distress Ink.
On a white piece of cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the
Hearty Horse set in brown and adhered a dark red cardstock strip underneath. I adhered the sentiment block to the card front using foam adhesive.
My last step for this card was to wrap some twine around the top and tie it in a bow. From the whole release, this was my FAVORITE card that I created!!! I had so much fun making these flowers!!!
