Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #598

Hey Friends!! There is a new challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenges!!! Challenge #598 is a THEME Challenge. It is to create a project using the THEME of JUNGLE ANIMALS.

I created this card with some images and sentiments from my "pile" of stuff that I color/create when I don't have any mojo.

Below is the challenge badge for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #598:

The monkeys I used are from Mama Elephant. The sentiments are from Photoplay Stamps.

I used Twisted Citrus Distress Ink for shading behind the sentiment and splashed some gold and white paint over it.

There is Still Time to Play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #597-Anything Goes!

 Hello Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card to remind you that there is still time to play with this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #597 is the THEME-ANYTHING GOES!!

This week I decided to create a baby card. I actually made a TON but this is the one that I decided to post for this challenge. Below is the Challenge Badge for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #597:

I had so much fun combining the Baby Mug Additions and the Storybook 1 Dies from Pretty Pink Posh and the Simon Says Stamp Sweet Elephants Dies.

All of these adorable pieces were die cut from SCRAPS!!! I have a TON of them (as well as pattern paper, which I am also trying to utilize) and I thought yellow and green could be used for a boy or a girl.

I have been having a blast using dies to create cards. Do you like to use dies?

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #597-Anything Goes!

Hello Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #577 is one of our most popular challenges-ANYTHING GOES.

Since I have a couple of graduation parties to go to, I decided to create a graduation card. This one is for my niece, Sydney, who graduation from COLLEGE!!

For my background, I used paper from the Ink Drops-Ocean by the Craft Consortium.

I then die cut a  balloon using the Party Balloons Dies by Lawn Fawn. They are some of my FAVORITE dies for balloons!! 

I then topped the card off with three products from Simon Says Stamp!-The Grad Hat Die, Grad Word/Shadow Dies and a stamped sentiment from Grad Party. I LOVE how this came out!!!

Just a Reminder for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #596-FOR THE GUYS

Hey friends!!

I am just popping in with a reminder that there is still time to play over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Challenge #596 is a THEME challenge-FOR THE GUYS!!!

I decided to use some new products I ordered from The Greetery on my card. I just HAD TO HAVE that birthday stencil!!! Below is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Badge for CIC596:

I started off my card by making the background that is covered up by the white panel. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a Prima Marketing background stamp to create a piece of pattern paper. When I first started I was not sure I was going to cover it up or I would probably have not put the effort in to making it!!

I then adhered the stenciled panel on top of the background. To finish it off, I used some white gems. Easy peasy!!

I LOVE how it came out and think I will have to make a few more for my stash!!!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #596-For the Guys!

Hey friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Challenge #596 is a THEME challenge-FOR THE GUYS.

Guys cards are so hard for me to create for some reason. Am I the only one? Below is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Badge for CIC596:

I chose to use some of the main colors from the Inspiration Picture on the badge. I used scraps and cut them into strips.

Instead of using a dark brown, I chose to go with a Kraft color for the card base and "happy" sentiment.
