WPlus9 "Fresh Cut Florals" Part 3

Happy Tuesday!! I am once again sharing the cards I created using WPlus9's "Fresh Cut Florals" die and stamp set.

My first card is very simple. I actually CASEd from someone else's card that I saw. The person did not use this stamp set but a similar flower. I apologize for not having a link.

I first cut  a strip of Little Yellow Bicycle patterned paper (Geometric Green) and placed it diagonally over a lemon tart A2 card base. I then cut a tiny strip of lemon tart paper and stamped the sentiment from Paper Trey Ink's "Heart-2-Heart #4" mini stamp set in brown ink. Next I stamped "hello" from the same set in orange zest ink. I adhered the yellow strip to the green paper using foam adhesive, slightly above the hello.

For the next step, I adhered a set of leaves and a flower over the yellow strip and a set of leaves and one flower under the yellow strip. To finish the card off I used diamond Stickles in the middle of the flowers and added three orange gems.

I really love the colors of this card and only wish I had more of this patterned paper.

Here is a side view of the card.

My second card I created from scratch. I used a lemon tart A2 size card stock base. I then adhered a piece of 4" by 5 1/4" piece of lemon tart patterned paper over the base. Next I die cut a banner from the  "Geometric Green" patterned paper and adhered it to the front of the card.

I stamped a block using the Paper Trey Ink's "Do Me a Favor" stamp set in lemon tart ink and the sentiment from "Tag It's #3" in orange zest ink. I adhered the block onto the card using adhesive foam.

I then adhered a flower using foam adhesive to the top left of the stamped block and an arrangement of flowers to the bottom right of the block. The last step was to adhere five yellow sequins randomly over the card and to put a little bit of diamond Stickles into the middle of the flowers.

That is all for today. I hope you enjoyed my cards. Thank you for stopping by!!

WPlus9 "Fresh Cut Florals" part two

Hello again!! I have been having a blast this weekend playing with WPlus9's "Fresh Cut Florals" dies and stamp set. I don't think I have ever been this excited about a stamp set. I think the best part about it for me was that I pulled out so many of my ink pads  and used them.  (I should really take a photo of all of them-it is kind of sick how many I have.)

I apologize for this photo. It was night time and my desk was very messy. I just wanted  everyone to see that I created each piece in an assembly line process. I used the "Fresh Florals Die" three times to die cut all these pieces out of white card stock. I then went to town stamping. I used TWENTY-ONE ink colors for all these pieces!!! It took me quite a bit of time to do all this so after I stamped, I decided to go to bed and sleep on how I wanted to use all these pieces.

For the first card, I pulled out my "Mega Gracious Vases" Die from Paper Trey Ink and die cut two vases out of white card stock. I knew I wanted to use these on a card but wasn't sure how or what colors I was going to choose for the background.

The white vase was just looking too austere to me so I looked around my house for inspiration. I remembered the sunflowers my friend had brought for me when she came for a visit that were sitting on my counter in a milk glass vase.

I decided that embossing the vases was the key. I went through my embossing folders and chose a thin one I had by Cuttlebug.

I loved how it came out!!! Using foam adhesive, I layered the vase over a die cut piece of pink patterned paper that I had already adhered to my card front. Then I played around with how I wanted my flowers to be. When I was happy with the arrangement, I used a mixture of dot adhesive and foam adhesive to layer the flowers.

I added a bow and some diamond Stickles to some of the flowers, stamped a sentiment and the card was done. So easy!! (However it took a while of layering and digging out products before I came up with this. I am a slow designer!!) I just noticed that the corner of the card in this photo is a bit deformed. I hate when that happens!!

For my second card, I used pink as the background for the card. Instead of using an embossing folder, I used a score board to make the pattern in my vase. I then layered the vase, using foam adhesive, over a strip of patterned paper scrap and some blue twine.

I then arranged the flowers how I wanted them and adhered them to the card with dot and foam adhesive squares.

I then used some midnight blue Stickles for some of the flowers middles and added some blue gems to complete the card.

This is close up of the vase. I had to ink it because somehow I got a little bit of dark ink on it. To cover it up, I took Vintage Photo ink and just touched the sides with a sponge.

That is all for now. I have a couple more projects that I will share tomorrow with the same stamps. Thank you for stopping by!!!
