Happy Monday everyone!! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. I am so excited to post today as it is the first time participating in CAS-ual Fridays new release party!!

All week I will be giving you a sneak peek of the new CAS-ual Friday stamps and fri-dies that will be for sale officially this Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the CAS-ual Friday store. Please visit the CAS-ual Fridays Blog for the next five days to enter to win a randomly picked $15 prize. Each day you have a chance to enter and five, $15 prizes will be announced on the CAS-ual Friday Blog on Saturday, April 30, 2016.

Without further ado, here is my sneak peek for the first set, "Pretty Posies" and the matching "Posies Fri-dies."

I ADORE this stamp and die set. It is fabulous for playing with Copic markers or watercolor.

On my first card, I went a bit pink. Okay, I admit it is more then a bit but I LOVE how it came out!!

I started off with a Stampin Up! "Positively Pink" card base that I ran through my big shot with a Darice Crackle embossing folder. I then cut a strip of pink striped paper for the top that was a scrap from my stash. I cut a large, white Doodlebug doily in half and adhered it to the front of the card, as shown.

Next I stamped the flowers and leaf from the "Pretty Posies" stamp set and colored them in with Copic markers. I then cut them out with the matching "Posies Fri-dies." I also stamped the sentiment from the set onto white card strip.

I used foam adhesive to adhere the flowers and the sentiment strip over the front of the doily. The last step was to glue a few clear sequins randomly around the cluster.

For my second card, I toned it down a bit.

I started off with a white card base and die cut two tags, one from black and white polka dot paper and one from vellum, using the middles sized tag from the "Tag Buddies Fri-Dies." I tied a piece Doodlebug "Bubblegum Twine" onto the tags and adhered both as shown to the card front.

Next I adhered the "Pretty Posies" leaf and the flower that I had colored in with Copic markers and die cut with the matching dies. I added details onto the flower with gel pens.

I embossed a sentiment in white onto a black piece of card stock strip and used foam adhesive to adhere it to the front of the card. My last step was to adhere black rhinestones around the sentiment.

That is it for me today, though you will be seeing this set used in conjunction with the sneak peek of another set tomorrow. Don't forget to visit the CAS-ual Fridays Blog to enter into the random $15 prize.

And there is a sale going on a CAS-ual Fridays Stamps too. See details here. You can use the code below to get even more off too!!

Oh these are both so pretty - you are right that is some brilliant pink - but it works so well with these Pretty Posies! I also love the brilliant pink against black - very striking!
