Hi everyone!!
Just a quick pop in with a Christmas card I created this weekend. I was going to post it yesterday but just was too tired to be on the computer.
I used Hello Bluebird snowman from the "Frosty Friends" stamp set that I colored in with Copic markers as my main image. I have had these snowmen since last year but never inked them up.
I used CASE this Sketch #344 as my main inspiration for this card, as well as Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies Challenge. The sketch had me a bit flummoxed this time but I figured it out. Instead of the hexagon I used a snowflake!
I had so much fun going through my plethora of snowflake dies and cutting them out to use on cards. I actually have quite a few dies and there are a bunch more that I have on my wish list!!
Notice the pink on the snowflakes? Apparently my inked background was not dry all the way and I picked it up with the Nuvo Clear Shimmer Pen I used over the snowflakes!! It makes me mad but don't think it looks horrible, do you?
I had a lot of fun making this card and am thankful that my mojo came back to me this weekend!!!
On a different note, I have been doing a fun thing for my daughter the last couple days. She has been super stressed with midterms and school work so I took the trio of cats that were her FAVORITE stuffed animals and took photos the last two days to send before I left for work. I then text them for her to see when she woke up. Oh, and by the way, as you can see, they are in NO WAY professionally done!!
This one I took yesterday in my basement before I steamed the shirt I chose to wear.
Today I got the dog involved. He doesn't look too happy does he????
Well, that is all from me today. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a GREAT day!!

Your card is adorable and I'm sure those photos brought a smile to your daughter's face!
I asked my winking expert and Hammy loves the slight hint of pink on some of your snowflakes, Nora! After all, no two are alike and in the grand scheme of things, some of them HAVE to be pink, don't you think?! Your take on the sketch is both stunning and adorable! Speaking of adorable, what a caring mom you are to take these fun photos for your daughter to lighten her stress levels ~ even if the doggie doesn't see the humor in what you're doing, lol! Hugs, Darnell GD CTS
Love your cute snowman card. Great background and I think all the snowflakes look great, even with the slight hint of pink.
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving your sweet comment on my STB Candles card.
Have a great weekend.
