There is a New Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge

 Hello Friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #604 is a THEME challenge-COOL CATS.

I used the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #604 badge below as my inspiration. However, it was only for the cat theme.

I dug deep for this card as I used very OLD supplies. The stamps are from MFT Stamps. I have had these for YEARS and have NEVER inked them up.

The white panel that my cat and dog is on is an old Project Life rectangle that I had bought when I was scrapbooking. I used Twisted Citron Distress Ink to blend, stencil and stamp the background.

The octagon frame is a retired die from MFT Stamps and the pattern paper is from my stash. I had SO MUCH FUN making this card!!!

Want to join us this round? To see more details about the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #604, head on over to the BLOG. I cannot wait to see what you create!!!

That is all from me. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Happy Friday!

Hey Friends!!

I am just popping in with a card for a couple of challenges. It is summer time and I have been trying to get in my craft room three or four times a week.

My first card is a summer themed card. I used Spellbinder's Oh Buoy! dies, Set Sails dies, MFT Frame Die (retired) and Fishing Net by Tutti Designs.

The stamped sentiment is from Spellbinder's the Fair Winds Sentiment Stamp Set. When I saw these dies I HAD TO HAVE THEM!! I loved these seagulls and knew I could make a bunch of cards with them.

I did make a ton of different cards with this set. I used Copic Markers to make the sand and torn Aqua Mist cardstock from Paper Trey Ink as the "sea."

I am entering this card into a few challenges. First, I am joining Inkspirational Challenge #320. This was to use more than one company on a card. I do this regularly. The second challenge I am entering is the TGIF Challenge #tgifc483. It was a graphic of an ocean and the phrase "Every Summer has a Story." The third challenge I am entering is Time Out Challenges #268-"On Vacation."

The next two cards I am entering into three challenges. One is the Daring Cardmakers Challenge "Christmas in July," The Color Hues Challenge #91-Red and Green, and The Jingle Belles Challenge-Dashing Through Snow.

For the first card, I used pattern paper, Hello Bluebird snowman stamp (retired), a Simon Says Stamp Snowflake Visions embossing folder,  MFT Stamps Mini Polaroid Frames (retired), and the Hello Bluebird sentiment.

The snowman I created in a bunch and put it away until I was ready. It makes creating a card so easy!!

I love how this card came out so I created another one with a different image. This time, I used a reindeer from Mama Elephant's Reindeer Games stamp set and matching dies.

The sentiment is from MFT Stamps. The snowflakes are from my stash and I have no clue who made it.

I LOVE how these cars came out and will be adding them into my stash.

Well, that is all from me today. Thanks for stopping by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Graduation is at the end of the month for some students I work with.  I figured I would make a card. I used old stamps from Paper Trey Ink, MFT Stamps and Casual Fridays Stamps for this card.

I am going to be honest, I had a hard time with this challenge. Primary colors are NOT my jam. However, these colors worked well for this card.

If you want to join us for Challenge $595, head on over to the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog

That is all from me. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Time for a New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge

Happy Monday everyone!!

I am rested up and back to work after a nice week off. The weather was so nice and we were able to get some things done in the yard.

Today I am popping in with a card that I created for this weeks Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #542.

This week at Cupcake Inspirations, it was a color challenge. I had to use Lime Green, Yellow and Orchid on my card. This was a challenge as I had to do some color tests to get the shade of pink I wanted.

The images that I colored for my card are Digital Images from this weeks sponsor, Varada Sharma

Popping in With Some Cards

(Disclaimer: This post has some affiliate links at no extra cost to you.)

Happy Sunday!! Just popping in with some cards I created this weekend with some cards I created using some challenges.

My first card I created for Freshly Made Sketches #491.

I have been trying to have my own internal challenge to use some of the supplies I have. I have SO MUCH pattern paper that I decided the sketch was perfect to use some up. Below is the sketch that inspired my card.

I also have some stickers that I needed to use. Do you ever used stickers on your cards? I decided when I created some of my cards that I would add them to some of my cards.

I used paper from a 12" by 12" paper pad I bought from Michael's. The little frame was even fussy cut from a piece.

The watering can is a Carta Bella element sticker sheet from the Flower Market collection. The yellow flower is from Carta Bell's Spring Market element stickers.

The watering can had light polka dots that I decided to emphasize by adding some White Nuvo Crystal Drops. The sentiment was from my stash that is stamped and die cut. I am not sure who created it.

For my second card, I created a card for a CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge #425.

I had so much fun making this card!! Again, I used a combination of stickers from the same sticker sheets. The pattern paper used is from 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Vintage Sage paper collection.

The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Bitty Birthday Wishes sentiment set. The greenery was die cut using Altenew Branches and Berries dies that were die cut from Neenah Solar White cardstock and shaded with two shades of Distress Ink-Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness.

I die cut the circles using a retired Shaker Die from My Favorite Things and a Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle die for the background paper.

I am so in love with how this card came out!! I am not sure it is up to a CAS design because I used pattern paper but it is a card that I have in my stash. I am notorious for not getting birthday cards out in time. My daughter makes fun of me for this. A card maker who forgets to send out cards.

On another note, I have been having a FABULOUS summer. I am trying to go on a few "adventures" a couple times a week. This past week I went walking with a friend, out to lunch and then to a fun antique store. I love old things and the younger generation does not appreciate them as much as my generation does.

Well that is all from me tonight. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS night!

Multiple Monday

Happy Monday everyone!!

I had done a post like this two weeks ago and I want to make this a new "thing." I was originally going to post a video for the batch I made this week but looking at the footage I took, it wasn't so hot. The desk shook a lot and I just decided that it wasn't good enough for people to see. That doesn't mean the cards didn't come out, though!!

I have to admit that I had A LOT of fun making these cards. As a rule, I do not do multiples of cards. I find it boring. However, during this time of being isolated, it has actually been kind of fun.

Here is the first card that I created for this "series." I started off by stamping my butterfly, heat embossing it in gold and then using Zig Clean Markers to paint it in. I then fussy cut it out.

I actually painted all the butterflies first and then picked the colors of ink I would use to stamp my background from there. I used Pinkfresh Studios "Dainty Blossoms" dies for the white flower/leaf die under my butterfly and the tag is Reverse Confetti's "Grid Stitched Tag."

I then repeated this design using purple for the background and butterfly, as well as changing up the tag to Reverse Confetti's "See Through Tag." The sentiment was in my stash.

I used some DMC Floss in white at the top and some sequins from Cartwright.

I created the card in pink...

in Jelly Bean green...

and in mint green. I thought all these came out really pretty.

I had a couple butterflies left over so I decided to use some pattern paper scraps for the last two cards I created. I actually think I might like these cards the best!!! The white tags pop off the paper better than the stamped backgrounds.

I wish I had only done the leaf die cut behind the butterfly on all of the cards.

I think it looks classier. I also stamped right on the tag, unlike the first five cards.

Here is another purple card. I like the colors with this background.

I am entering these cards into Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #391-Anything Goes and Watercooler Wednesday Card Challenge #273-Marsha's Challenge-All About Occasions.

Well, that is all from me today. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!
