A Few Sympathy Cards for Some Challenges

Hey Friends!!

I am popping in with some cards for some challenges. These are also included in an IG Hop-Create It 3 Ways and the theme was SYMPATHY. It is to use the same products to make three cards. I used some stamps/dies from an old Simon Says Stamp kit. Butterfly Blossoms was perfect for the sympathy theme.

I also showcased an Altenew Die-Floral Lace-to ground my flowers.

I colored the flowers in with Copic Markers and all the sentiments are from Taylored Expressions.

I am entering this particular card into the following two challenges-The Color Hues Challenge #129 Gold and Marigold and the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge-Beautiful Blooms.

The second card I created I used a yellow card base. This made the flowers look so differently than the purple.

There was a question in the messages if you put sequins or gems on a sympathy card. I say, the prettier the better and I LOVE a little shine.

I am entering this card in the following challenges-Just Add Ink#781-Just Add Wings and Just Us Girls #815 Mood Board Week.

The last card I created I used a slightly different purple for the background.

I really like how using different colored backgrounds can create a totally different look!!

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Such pretty sympathy cards, Nora! I agree, when it comes to sympathy cards the prettier and brighter the better as I feel the person receiving it is sad enough and something bright and happy might help lift their spirits. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues.

Sympathy cards are, I find, the most challenging to make. For that reason, I don't make them; I do, applaud those who do. Your cards here are beautiful with their pretty die cuts and warm messages. They are sure to touch the hearts of those who, sadly, are in need of receiving them. Thank you for joining us in the Just Us Girls and Colour Hues galleries.
