Hello Crafty Friends!!
I am just popping in with a couple of cards. I have not been crafting the last few weeks. I have been too depressed. Everything in the world is uncertain and I have a hard time feeling crafty when things are like this. However, I am on vacation this week and my goal is too make a ton of cards with some of the kits I have received over the past six months.

I had a blast using the Simon Says Stamp! August 2025 Best-Teas Stamp kit for my card.
I used the paper in this kit from the Carta Bella Coffee Shop 6" x 6" paper pad for the background and the images from the Best-Teas that I colored in with Copic Markers.
I die cut the images with the matching dies. I also used a cupcake from the tiny Tea-riffic Birthday that matches the larger set. I used a die from The Stamp Market for my ovals.
My second card I created for a student this week. I don't make cards for all the kids, which might sound mean, but this student is really special and has come such a long way. I wanted him to know that I was thinking of him on his birthday.
I used the Simon Says Stamp! Celebrate You stamp set (retired) for the bold balloons and the Simon Says Stamp! Fancy Happy Birthday Die for the sentiment die.
I used the prompt from the As You See It Challenge #370 and Seize the Birthday #324 Anything Goes as my inspiration for this card.
When I gave this card to the student, he had such a big smile and it made my day. I love how it came out and it did what I needed it to do.
Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!!

I love your sweet card, Nora! Those "tea party" icons are perfect and beautifully colored! So happy you joined Freshly Made Sketches and played with my sketch this week!
I agree with you - it is very hard to go about normal life when the world is so uncertain. Maybe that's why I do craft - at my desk, it's a world I can control. Anyway, your birthday balloon card is bright and fun and escapist. Thank you for sharing it with us at As You See It.
Such a glorious birthday card - I'm sure he appreciated it! I love all the bright balloons so much! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!
Well, looks like you have found some serious mojo with these two fabulous cards. Great take on the sketch with your first card and right now I am going to peg you as the winner for that challenge. As for your bright and happy balloon card...it is just that..bright and cheerful and will certainly make your student feel special. How sweet of you! Also, hang in there as we all are feeling your feels. Hugs too and and thanks for playing at Seize the Birthday. Some how we will get past this.
I'm glad to see you pushing through to create. The world is heavy and I'm sorry it is affecting you so deeply. I love your little treats card and I'm grateful you shared to brighten my day. Sending hugs. So glad you joined us this week at FMS!
The world is indeed a very scary place at the moment and it does affect our creativity. I hope your week is going well and you are feeling more at peace in your crafting space. In the meantime, these cards are delightful. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
I am sorry you feel down and not like creating, but you certainly stood up to the challenges you used this week! That little treat card made me want a donut, and the balloons were bright and cheerful! Glad it made your student happy, it made us happy too! Thanks for sharing this with us at As You See It this week!
Nora, your sweets got my sweet tooth going! What a fun and pretty card! And what a perfect sentiment! Thanks for sharing this Sweet Treat card at Time Out!
I'd forgotten all about this great set from SSS thanks for the reminder and the inspiration to ink it up again. I love how you combined both challenges and the additions of the rhinestones adds the perfect touch of shimmer and shine. I also love that you colored the sentiment the same as the background. Fabulous coloring job, too. So glad you shared this with us at Time Out this week

As a tea drinker the first card is right up my alley but the bold balloons on the second one absolutely scream 'birthday' - so glad your card was well-received. Thanks for sharing with us over at As You See It!
