Happy Sunday with some Cards

Hello Crafty Friends!!

After being away three weeks in July, I was able to get back into my craft room this week. I have made a TON of cards for some of the design teams I am on but I was also able to make a few with some recent challenges.

My first card I created for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #748.

I have been digging out some of the card kits that have been piling up in my craft room to create cards. For this card, I used the Simon Says Stamp April 2026 "A Little Artsy" kit for this card.

The paper is Beautifully Imperfect from Spellbinders. The paper was a bit thin so I covered white cardstock with the pattern paper so I can distress the edges of all my pieces.

I added some stamping in black to the background paper using the Simon Says Stamp A Little Artsy stamp set. The sentiment was created using this same stamp set and cut with the matching die.

I am entering this card into the Freshly Made Sketches #748 and this weeks JUGS Challenge #835-Die Week Anything Goes.

The second card I created for this round of the Color Hues Challenge #138 Navy and Teal.

Once again, I used the SSS April 2026 Card Kit to create my card. The butterflies and the sentiment was stamped using the A Little Artsy stamp set.

This was a ton of fun to create. I used the stencil included in the kit to color in the butterflies with Peacock Oxide Ink-also included in the kit. I then added some SSS white splatter medium across the card.

Once the panel was dry, I tied some teal twine around the card front, added the sentiment and then adhered it to an A2, white card base. My last step was to adhere some teal jewels around the sentiment.

I am entering this card into the following challenges: The Color Hues Challenge #138 and the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #298-the top horizontal line-sparkle, ribbon/twine and butterflies.

My last card I used the August
(Pin)spirational Challenge #340 for my colors, The Sisterhood of Crafters July 2026 Challenge-the fun, bright flower mood board and We Love Stamping August 2026-Summer Blooms.

Once again I used the April 2026 SSS Card Kit for my card. I stamped the flowers and the print in black on a white card front.

I used the stencil in the kit to shade the flowers in with MFT Coral Crush and Persimmon dye ink.

The background is Salvaged Patina Distress Ink.

The twine is from my stash and the sequins are from one of the Spellbinders Advent Calendars.

Well, that is all from me today. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a GREAT day!!

You Make Me Smile Card

Hello Crafty Friends!!

I got home from my vacation on Tuesday after a twenty four hours of travel. My husband and I had a FABULOUS time on our Alaska cruise. We did a small cruise line with less than 750 people. This enabled us to go into smaller ports. I would recommend.

I was finally able to get into my craft room on Thursday and made some cards for some challenges.

I created this card using the Freshly Made Sketches #745 and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Fabulous Florals.

I started off by dry embossing a piece of purple cardstock using the Spellbinders Intertwined Lattice embossing folder. The frame is from Sunny Studios.

I had created the lavender flowers using a die from The Greetery. I had colored the stems in using Copic Markers and insk smooshing. The sentiment is stamped and die cut using Spellbinders You Make Me Smile Sentiments.

My second card I used the Inspired By Challenge as my start off for my card, as well as the middle across from the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #297-any color, free, sentiment.

I started off my card by dry embossing the Simon Says Stamps Blooming Wreath on a white card panel. I then used a Distress Tool around the edges. Next I took the Cadet Blue Positively Saturated Ink pad to colored in my flowers with a small blending tool.

I used the Thick and Thin Thanks Dies from Concord & 9th for the sentiment. The butterflies are Poppy Stamps Nordic Cheery Butterflies.

The flower centers are colored in using a YG 21 Copic Marker and some tiny dots of Diamond Stickles.

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

A Card for Freshly Made Sketches #738

Hey Crafty Friends!! Happy Sunday!

I am just popping in today with a card I created today for Freshly Made Sketches #738 and Simon Says Stamp! Wednesday Challenge-Anything Goes.

I used the Tweet Friend stamp and die set by Simon Says Stamp! for my stamped images. I did a bit of sewing with platinum thread behind my image.

I added some sequins around the images to give it some shine. Below is the Freshly Made Sketch #738 that inspired my card.

I had fun stamping and coloring the bird with Copic markers for this card.

That is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Some New Cards!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!

I am just popping in with a couple of cards. I have not been crafting the last few weeks. I have been too depressed. Everything in the world is uncertain and I have a hard time feeling crafty when things are like this. However, I am on vacation this week and my goal is too make a ton of cards with some of the kits I have received over the past six months.

My first card I created for some challenges. I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketch #731, Time Out Challenges #315-Sweet Treats and Simon Says Stamp! Wednesday Challenge as my inspiration. As I was making it, I thought of my mother. She LOVED tea and had many cups throughout the day.

I had a blast using the Simon Says Stamp! August 2025 Best-Teas Stamp kit for my card.

I used the paper in this kit from the Carta Bella Coffee Shop 6" x 6" paper pad for the background and the images from the Best-Teas that I colored in with Copic Markers.

I die cut the images with the matching dies. I also used a cupcake from the tiny Tea-riffic Birthday that matches the larger set. I used a die from The Stamp Market for my ovals.

My second card I created for a student this week. I don't make cards for all the kids, which might sound mean, but this student is really special and has come such a long way. I wanted him to know that I was thinking of him on his birthday.

I used the Simon Says Stamp! Celebrate You stamp set (retired) for the bold balloons and the Simon Says Stamp! Fancy Happy Birthday Die for the sentiment die.

I used the prompt from the As You See It Challenge #370 and Seize the Birthday #324 Anything Goes as my inspiration for this card.

When I gave this card to the student, he had such a big smile and it made my day. I love how it came out and it did what I needed it to do.

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!!

Some Valentine's!!!

Happy Sunday Friends!!!

I am popping in today with some cards that I created. One thing I did was comb thought a TON of previously cut die cuts, stamped images and sentiments for my cards.

For my first card, I used the Freshly Made Sketches #722 as my jump off point. I dug through all my die cuts and found heart borders and a rick rack border to use for the stripes on the sketch. I am also entering this into this round of the Color Hues Challenge #126-Pink and Red. The last challenge that inspired this card is this weeks Inspired By...#374 Love Letters.

The background paper is from an old Honey Bee Stamps-Love Letters paper pad.

I added some extra glitter hearts from another project in some little Altenew Envelopes.

The little stamp is from my stash and I have not clue where it came from. I have to say, I LOVE how this came out!!! Supplies that I can remember are below:

For the next Valentine, I used the Just Us Girls #809, Try a Sketch on Tuesday #688 and the As You See It Challenge #365-Rhapsody in Red.

Once again, the background is pattern paper from  the Honey Bee Stamps Love Letters Stamp Pad.

The butterflies and butterfly circle is from Waffle Flower Crafts, as well as the stencil and stamp.

The celebrate sentiment is from my stash, the Valentine's sentiment is from Taylored Expressions.

I used the sketch as a jump off point BUT it is not CAS. Not sure that is a requirement but if it was, I probably should not have used the pattern paper.

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Freshly Made Sketches #714

 Hey Friends!!

I hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving!! I ate way too much and did a ton of cleaning over the long weekend. I did get to craft a bit and am posting one of my cards before it is too late to enter it!!!

I created this card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches #714. I try to do this each week but sometimes forget to post them in time. Below is the sketch that inspired my card.

I used a bunch of things from my stash for my card. The background paper is from a My Mind's Eye paper pad-Merry Little Christmas-that I have had FOR YEARS.

The poinsettia was die cut using a die from Waffle Flower Crafts. I have had this die in my stash and never pulled it out. I decided it was time to use it!!! I added some glue and Snowflake Distress Glitter to give it some BLING.

The sentiment is from Concord & 9th and the white panel behind the sentiment was die cut using a label die from Pinkfresh Studio. I would link the supplies but I am trying to get this post up because I have to do an errand before 8:00 p.m. and need to go.

That is all from me today. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS night!!
