World Card Making Day Cards

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends!!

I am just popping in with two cards that I created yesterday during World Card Making Day.

I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #756 and Addicted to Stamps #527 Christmas as my inspiration.

I used Birch Press Design's Block Print Ribbed Ornament and Simple Pine Needles dies and scraps of gold and glitter paper for my bauble.

I used an old paper pad in back of the ornament and the sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps.

I had so much fun creating the first card, I created a second one too!

I swapped the gold out for pattern paper at the bottom and some gold twine at the top.

I added some gold gems and a darker gold bow to the top of the ornament.

I am going to enter this one in this weeks As You See It Challenge #382.

That is all from me today. I want to thank you for stopping by. Have a GREAT night!

Two beautiful cards Nora - the gold adds a real elegance and I love the variety of patterns and textures from all of the elements you've included. How did you fill in the blank - how many Christmas cards have you made this year? Do let us know; thanks for sharing with us over at As You See It!

These are both such gorgeous cards! The gold and white is so elegant and the patterns do not detract from the overall sophistication. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.

Nora, what a sophisticated gold ornament you've created. It's beautiful. For our Fill in the Blank Challenges, you need to actually fill in the blank! Thanks for playing along with your amazing papercrafting skills!

That's a pretty wee bauble, Nora. With the delicate gold it hints at a Faberge egg. The addition of the modern, graphic paper behind it is lovely. Thanks for joining in with us this week at As You See It.
