Day 3 of the April 2021 CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Release: Introducing Big Thanks Duo

Hello everyone!! Today I am popping in with a card I created for the April 2021 CAS-ual Fridays Stamps release. I made a simple card using the new Big Thanks Duo. This new set includes the stamps and the dies together.

I started off this card by using the Swirls Stencil with blue Stickles. This was an experiment and I LOVE how it came out!!

While the white panel was drying, I stamped and die cut the "thanks" using the new Big Thanks Duo set.

I made an ombre effect on the sentiment using different colors of blue ink. I started with light blue on the "s" and used darker shades as I went down the stamp toward the "t."

I layered the stenciled panel over a blue card base and then stamped another sentiment from the Big Thanks Duo set onto the card front. I adhered the thanks using foam adhesive.

This stamp set, as well as all the other new stamp sets, are available NOW in the CAS-ual Fridays Stamp Shop. Just check out the NEW section. Be sure to use my code, NORASENTME to get an extra 15% off your TOTAL order!!

Love You a Latte

Happy Friday!! I am celebrating today with CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog for their Spring/Summer Blog Hop!

I created a card with the CAS-Friday's new Coffee Chips chipboard. It is available NOW in the NEW section of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamp Store.

I started off my card by using the By the Beans Stencil and Ground Espresso Distress Ink to create a background.

When I was done stenciling, I ran the stencil and my stenciled background through my die cut machine to dry emboss the panel. This gave the stenciling a slightly raised look as you can see in the photo below.

I then adhered my background to an A2, top folding card base. This card was inspired by last weeks Freshly Made Sketches #435 so I adhered some paper strips from my scrap card as indicated by the sketch below. If you are new to my blog, I often use sketches when making most of my cards. Some are from challenges, others I create myself.

Next I used the Coffee'isms stamp set to to stamp part of my sentiment with red ink onto a circle die cut.

I adhered the circle to my card front using foam adhesive to give it a little pop.

The "latte" sentiment is from the new Coffee Chips  chipboard, which I inked with Ground Espresso Distress Ink to match the background, before adhering under the stamping.

My last step was to adhere a chipboard heart that I had covered with Candy Apple Distress Ink, Aqua Shimmer Pen and some Glossy Accents.

I had so much fun putting this card together and I hope that you like it!! Hop on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Blog to see more great coffee cards from the design team.

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Release Day 3

Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you are all doing well.

Today is Day 3 of the March CAS-ual Fridays Stamps release. I created a card with the new "Happy Birthday" stamp set.

I started off my card by using the Curtis Stencil with two colors of Distress Ink on a white background.

I then used the Happy Birthday stamp set and double stamp set in an orange and peach color.

I adhered the panel over two scraps of pattern paper. I did a pop up effect of the sentiment by covering up the darker cover with an aqua shimmer pen and Glossy Accents.

Here is a peek at what the entire stamp set looks like:

A Challenge Card and Some Totally Random Creations

Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Just popping in with some cards I created.

This first card was inspired by some challenges.

I created the patterned paper using an Echo Park stencil on white card stock which I stenciled with MFT "Daffodil" and "Blue Breeze" die ink. I then adhered the panel to a light blue, A2, top folding card base.

I then stamped the sentiment using Sugar Peas Designs "Pucker Up" stamp set in black. I adhered a die cut blue banner on top and a white square over that. Next I adhered the lemonade images over the front of the square, using foam adhesive to pop up the glass and the lemon.

I am entering this card into Fusion Challenge Card Sketch and the colors by "Inspired By Hello Spring."

I was inspired by the sketch for the Fusion Challenge and the yellow and blue colors in the Inspired By photo.

My second random card design I made for a friend.

I die cut the Memory Box "Intricate Bee" out of gold glitter paper and mounted over a Memory Box "Honey Comb Stitched Circle Frame" die.

I die cut the thanks using WPlus9's "Basic Greetings" set, colored it in with a Spectrum Clear Sparkle marker and adhered it to the card front. I then covered it with Glossy Accents. I added a crown of embossed gold and tied some gold thread around the top.

My second card has the same card design BUT instead of using gold glitter paper (I ran out) I die cut the bee and embossed it in gold instead. I think I like it better.

Instead of using the WPlus9 greeting I used a die cut Lawn Fawn thanks sentiment.

Well, that is all from me today. I thank you for stopping by!! Have a great day!!
