Festive Friday #24 Card

Hello!! Just a quick post to show you the card I created for the Festive Friday Challenge blog.

The challenge was to use the photo below to inspire a card.

Here is the card that was inspired by this image.

I was inspired by the pinecones in the photo and the touch of dark red. I used mostly Paper Trey Ink products on this card. To do the pinecones, I first stamped in chocolate ink. Then I colored in various areas with a versa mark pen and embossed in white. To finish them off, I used my finger and smudged gold Stickles over the white areas.

I like how the pinecones themselves came out but the pine is way too green for me. I should have done them a different color.

Thank you for stopping by!! Have a great day!!

Love the subdued glitter on the pinecones and that pop of green is actually very pretty - it makes it look classic and modern at the same time! Thanks for joining us at Festive Friday!

I actually like the color you stamped the pine in. I was thinking how nice it was before I even read that you didn't care for it. Very pretty card!! Thanks so much for joining us at Festive Friday! :)
