Hello everyone!! Today is day 3 of the March 2019 release for
CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. I am showcasing the new
Sweet Friend Fri-dies. For my project I created an encouragement card.
I started my card by used the negative of a panel that had been stenciled with the Tin Roof Stencil in lavender. I misted a piece of white cardstock using the stencil and then put a piece of white cardstock OVER the stencil to collect the extra mist that was on top, reversing the image.
While that was drying, I used the Tin Roof Stencil again with
Moonstone Nuvo Glimmer. I covered the flower centers with Enchanted Stickles to match the lavender misted panel.
Next I die cut the "friend" sentiment using the new
Sweet Friend Fri-die with purple paper and used the
Somebunny stamp set for the stamped sentiment.
I took the misted rectangle and adhered to the card base using foam adhesive. Then I added the friend die cut, and the sentiment strip over it.
My last step was to adhere some sequins around the sentiment and use
Cosmic Stickles for the dot over the i in "friend."
