Hello Crafty Friends!!
Today I am popping in to remind you of the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #527-Shades of Green. This week I created another little scene with a dragon.
Once again, I used images generously donated by our sponsor- WWW.CRAFTYSCRAPPERS.IN-to create my card. Isn't she precious?

Hello my Crafty Friends!!!
Today I am here with a card for the new Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #527-Shades of Green. I used a digital image from WWW.CRAFTYSCRAPPERS.IN, our sponsor for this challenge.
Isn't this little dragon a cutie?
Below is the badge for this weeks Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #526-Shades of Green.

I used a photo program to make this little scene with the clouds and my little dragon. I printed it out twice-once on printer paper and once on *Neenah White Cardstock. I started out by cutting masks out of printer paper, covering the clouds and the dragon, and then shading the background using *Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
Next I used my Copic markers to color in the dragon and shade the clouds a bit. I used a *Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Die to die cut my panel and two scraps of green pattern paper. I adhered all to an A2, green, top folding card base, as shown.
I then did a technique I have NEVER done before to get the little "scales" on my dragon. I used a two colors of green colored pencil-a dark green and a light green-and made tiny circles all over the dragon. This gives the illusion of scales!! I LOVE how it came out!!
Hello everyone!!
Today I am popping in with another card I created for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #526-Take Flight. Unlike my card from last week, I did not use a plane. I decided to use a butterfly. They fly, right?
Below is the inspiration for my card. I chose to use the theme, rather than the photo to create this.
To start my card off, I used an embossing folder to emboss a doily onto a piece of *Neenah White Cardstock and die cut it with a Mama Elephant rectangle die. I then adhered it over a purple, A2, top folding card front.
I added a gray circle over the top of the doily and stamped a sentiment from Your Next Stamp. Next, I used foam adhesive to adhere the *Small Butterflies from Pinkfresh Studio. I had stamped these little beauties with *Vintage Photo Distress Ink, colored them in with Copic Markers and then stamped again with *Versamark to heat emboss with Ranger *Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I then die cut them out with the matching *Small Butterflies Dies.
I LOVE how this came out!! It is simple and I am going to be sending this out to a special someone who is having a bit of trouble right now.
Please hop on over to the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge Blog to see what the other Design Team members created. I hope that you will play with us this week!!!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by!! Have a FABULOUS day!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!
I am popping in today with a simple card that I created using the new CAS-ual Fridays *Partly Cloudy Stencil. I am going to admit that this is my favorite stencil from the release!!!
I started off this card by stenciling the sun from the *Partly Cloudy Stencil using *Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink.
I then went over the stencil with *Mustard Seed Distress Ink.
The last ink I blended over the top of the sun stencil was Wild Honey Distress Ink.
To get the blend that I wanted, I then went over the sun again with each ink I used but in reverse order, starting with Mustard Seed and ending with the Wild Honey. When this was dry, I used Hero Arts *Soft Sky dye ink and the edges of the Partly Cloudy Stencil to create the clouds.
I rotated the stencil edges, using one, flipping the stencil, and then using the new edge, all the way down my paper so that all my clouds were just a tiny bit different.
When this was complete, I cut the panel into a square and distressed the edges. I adhered the square on a top folding, Kraft, A2 card base that I had already placed two square pieces of distressed pattern paper.
I covered the sun with a *Clear Glitter Marker and adhered two, small clouds that were die cut using the *Raindrops Duo dies.
My last step was to adhere a sentiment that I had masked and stamped using the *Supercalifragilistic Stamp set and my card was complete. I LOVE how this card came out and it was so simple to create!!!
The *Partly Cloudy Stencil, as well as the whole release is available now in the *NEW section of the CAS-ual Fridays Shop. Use my code, NORASENTME, to get an extra 15% off your total order, including sale items!!
Be sure to hop on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Blog to see all the other projects by the Design Team and to be entered into a drawing for a prize.
That is all from me today. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Be sure to pop in tomorrow for the last day of the release!!
