A Few Cards for Some Challenges

(Some links in this post are Affiliate Links used at no extra cost to you.)

Hey Friends!!

I am just popping in with some cards for some challenges. I have been busy making Christmas cards the past few weekends as I intend to send hand made cards to my Christmas card list.

My first card, I am entering into the Jingle Bells Blog Challenge. The theme was "Hard Candy."

I used The Stamp Market's Sweet Holiday Wishes Stamps and Dies (retired) to create this card.

I decided to use pink and green for my card because sometimes I love non-traditional color Christmas colors.

My next two cards were created for this weeks The Paper Players Challenge. It was a color challenge this week-red, green and gold. I also entering it into The Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I used the diagonal for the challenge-gold, metallic, and cream/vanilla.

Here are the cards below:

I used the following dies from Spellbinder's Paper Arts on this card: Christmas Blooms, Parcel and Post Mailbox, Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations and Holiday Blooms

The background was created with an embossing folder by Richard Gary. The sentiments are a combination of stamps, Tagged Elegance from The Greetery and Typed Christmas from Hello Bluebird (one of my all time favorite sets!!.)

My second card is similar than the card above but with a different background and layered die cuts.

I can't tell what card I like best. Can you?

My next card I created for this weeks Just Us Girls Challenge #705 and Challenge #201 from The Card Concept.

The card I created for these two challenges is below:

I was inspired by the colors of the leaves from The Card Concept's badge and used the theme of Thanks for the Just Us Girls Challenge.

The stamps and paper are retired sets from The Stamp Market. The banner is from Altenew.

Well, that is all from me today. Be sure to pop in tomorrow to see the NEW Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #582!!!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

A NEW Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge-CIC567

Hey Friends!!! It is time for a NEW challenge over at the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog. This week it is a color challenge. Can you figure out what colors from my card below?

This weeks Cupcake Inspirations Challenge is to use ORANGE, PINK and YELLOW on your card.

Source

Okay, I did add some green on my card too but I used the badge as my inspiration. It is not quite so bright in real life.

For my flower stamp, I used the Wonderful in Every Way stamp by Pinkfresh Studio with the matching stencils. I decided to mix the ink colors on the flowers using the challenge colors. I don't usually do things like this but it came out really cool.

The die cut and the sentiment were from my stash!!! I "think" they might be MFT? I cannot find the products but I know I have them!!!

I hope you decide to join us over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge this week. I cannot wait to see what you create!!!

That is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS week!!!

A Day Late and a Dollar Short...

(Some links in this post are Affiliate Links used at no extra cost to you.)

Hello friends!!!

I am not sure about you but I often use challenges to create cards when I am in a rut or when I just want to stretch my creativity. That said, I am great at doing the challenges but then never post them!!!

Today I am posting two cards that I created using various challenges as inspirations.

My first card I used last weeks Freshly Made Sketches #573 and Sunday Stamps color badge as my main inspiration for my card. Of course I missed the posting date for the sketch but I had fun creating anyway!

I am in the Small Die of the Month Club over at Spellbinders and I had to use the Floral Mini Tiles, the February die, for the "strips" on the sketch.

I paired these dies with the Spellbinders Leafy 3D Embossing Folder and a sentiment from Outlined Sentiments, the August 2022 small die of the month.

I LOVE how this card came out so much that I created another card with some leftovers!!

I am entering my second card into this week's Little Red Wagon #693-use your die cuts and Simon Says Stamp! Wednesday Challenge-Anything Goes.

Once again I started off with the Floral Mini Tiles from Spellbinders and the Leafy 3D Embossing Folder

I die cut a decorative edge using Spellbinders' Stacked Decorative Edges dies (retired May 2020 Small Die of the Month) and placed three tiles to the right, over the die cut.

The sentiment is ALSO a Spellbinders' Small Die of the Month. It is from the Layered Mix and Match Sentiment Set, the September 2021 set. I actually did not mean to use all Spellbinders dies BUT I have been trying to "use what I have" and I have a TON of dies I have not used!!!

I even made a THIRD card from my extra flowers from the Floral Mini Tiles die set but will post that another day. I have yet to photograph it!!

That is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS night!

Just Us Girls Challenge Guest Design Post Week 5-#608 Wild Card Week

Some Affiliate Links are used in this post. Please see my Affiliate Policy.

Happy Saturday everyone!! Today I am here with my last post as Guest Designer for Just Us Girls Challenge Blog. This week is a Wild Card week. The theme is leaves.

Here is the challenge badge that inspired this card.

I started off this card by using the Kat Scrappiness Quokka Thanksgiving Costume Stamps to stamp leaves randomly around the front of a white, A2 card front. I then colored i the leaves with Copic markers.

I used two Boxed Sentiment Strip Dies to die cut two white strips out of paper. I used Copic markers to color them in. I then adhered them to the left hand side of the card.

I then die cut the thanks out of white and the black shadow using the Kat Scrappiness Thanks Sentiment with Shadow. I adhered the shadow to the card and colored the bottom of the thanks with Copic markers. I used clear Sparkle pen over the sentiment and covered it with Glossy Accents

I finished off my card by adhering Jasper Stone pearls on the front of my card.

I want to thank the Design Team of Just Us Girls Challenge for inviting me to be the guest designer for this month. . I have had so much fun!

I appreciate everyone for stopping by. I hope you all have a FABULOUS day!!
