Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #555

Hello friends!! Today I am on the blog with a NEW challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenges. For the next two weeks it is all about HALLOWEEN!! 

Below is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Badge for the next two weeks. (CIC555)

My image was generously donated by the sponsor for the #555 Challenge, The Whimsical Art Witch.

I had so much fun making this card!!! I first created my background using various Distress Sprays. I then printed this FABULOUS pumpkin and colored it in with Copic markers. 

I fussy cut the image out and adhered it to my background. I then used some Glossy Accents in various places around the pumpkin. 

My last step was to adhere some white enamel dots around the pumpkin and some tiny bat sequins over the moon. I LOVE how this came out!!!

Hi friends!! I am popping in to remind to remind you that there is still time to play for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #554. 

The CIC554 is a color challenge-use hot pink, black or white on a card. 

I used Spellbinders Color Block Mini Drops, Candlewick Classic Rectangles and the sentiment is from Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club.

I finished it off with some Glossy Accents. I had so much fun creating this card!!!

A New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge

Hi Friends!! Happy Monday!! Today I am popping in with a card I created for the new two week Cupcake Challenge Inspirations Blog. This week's challenge is a color challenge.

Challenge #554 is all about using hot pink, black and white on a card. 

For my card, I combined Spellbinders Color Block Mini Drop dies and a Simon Says Stamp! stencil for my card. It was so much fun to create!! 

The sentiment is the Layered Mix and Match Sentiments from the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club.

A New Release at the Kat Scrappiness Shop!!!

Hello friends!! 

There is another new release at the Kat Scrappiness Shop. The NEW Perk Up products are all about COFFEE!!! Just a reminder that links in this blog post are Affiliate Links that are used at no extra cost to you.

For my first card, I created a with a handmade background using stamps from the Kat Scrappiness Perk Up stamp set and Coffee Splatter 6x6 Stencil.

I added strips of pattern paper over the background that are from the new Perk Up 6x8 paper pad. I then stamped the coffee pot using the Perk Up stamp set and die cut the pot with the Perk Up Coordinating Dies.

I stamped the sentiment and die cut it out using a circle die. I finished off the card by adhering some brown pearls from the Coffee Pearl Mix.

For my second card I kind of went off the rails. I used the new Kat Scrappiness Cuppa Love Shaker Dies to create TEA CUPS!!!!

Tea reminds me of my mother as she was a tea toller.  She and her mother had collections of tea cups and I loved just looking at them when I was younger. I have a collection too but they are all in a box!!! I decided to find some photos of real tea cups on Pinterest to use as my models.

The background was created using the Falling Hearts Stencil, gold watercolor and pink dye ink. The blue tea cup was created using Copic Markers and gold watercolor. I used the new Mason Jar Shaker Card Dies for my strawberries, the heart is from the Rise and Shine Coffee Background Dies and the sentiment is from last weeks release of the Simple Sentiments Stamp and Die Set.

I LOVE how this card came out and it was TONS OF FUN to create!!!

There is still time to play at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #553-SAFARI ANIMALS

Hello friends!!

Just popping into remind you that there is still time to play with this fortnights Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #553. It is a THEME challenge this time around. It is all about making a creation with SAFARI ANIMALS.

Below is the badge for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #553 (CIC553).

This week I used four images and a sentiment from the Peek-A-Boo Digital Stamp set that was generously donated by our sponsor www.craftyscrappers.in. 

Once again, all the adorable animals were colored in with Copic Markers. I then die cut the panel with dies from Avery Elle.

I  mounted it over an A2 top folding card front that was stenciled with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink. The addition of the orange twine bow was a last minute element that I think the card needed.
