There is a NEW Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations!!

Just popping in with a card that I created for Challenge #564 at Cupcake Inspirations Challenges. 

For the next two weeks, Cupcake Inspirations Challenge is all about BEES!

The image I used is from our sponsor for this challenge-Pixel Paper Prints!!!

 She generously donated the "Busy Bee's" Digital Stamp Set for us to use for the next two weeks!

I had a TON of fun coloring in this card!! The sentiment was my creation that I printed right on to the front when I printed my images.

Since this set was so MASSIVE, I have a bonus card for you too! I made a birthday card using some of the bees from the "Busy Bee" set.

I used Copic Markers to color in my bees and a stencil for the background. The sentiment looks a bit off in this photo but it is not IRL.

The CIC554 is a color challenge-use hot pink, black or white on a card. 

I used Spellbinders Color Block Mini Drops, Candlewick Classic Rectangles and the sentiment is from Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club.

I finished it off with some Glossy Accents. I had so much fun creating this card!!!

A New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations

 Hello friends!! 

Popping in with a card for the new Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. The next two weeks is a color challenge AND we are pairing up with the Double Trouble Challenge Blog for some added fun.

The challenge for this weeks Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #552 is Jade, Yellow and Brown.

Ingredients:

On my card, I used the jade color on my frame. It complimented the green of the pattern paper and the leaves that I used. 

The yellow is my PaperTrey Ink's Feathered Friends #3. The brown color is on my bird as well. 

As for the the Double Trouble Challenge Recipe I kind of added more. I have pearls as embellishments and the bird is stamped.

A Reminder for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #550

Hey friends!! Today I am popping in to remind you that you still have time to play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #550.

It is a color challenge. For Cupcake Inspirations #550, you need to use the colors PINK, GRAY and WHITE on your card front. 

For my card, I kind of went the peachy pink way once again. I actually think it leans more toward peach but I am okay with that.

The lace and branch is from Altenew. The butterfly from Pink Fresh Studio and the sentiment is one I typed up and printed out. The pearls are from Kat Scrappiness.

Once again this was really simple to create as I had this in my stash to put together. I did have to shade teh lace and color in the butterfly but that is the fun part!!!

Today I am popping in with a reminder for this weeks Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #547. The theme is "Oh My Stars."

Once again I did not use the traditional red, white and blue on my card. I went with a beach theme. I used the image from "Summer Circles" by Pretty Pink Posh, which I colored in using Copic Markers. 

The star fish border was stamped in pink using the Seas and Greetings stamps from Simon Says Stamps. The die cut starfish is from a Hero Arts die set and the sentiment is from a Concord and 9th stamp set.

Once again, I LOVE how this card came out!!! It is a simple design but was fun to create.

A New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge

Hello friends. 

I have been so bad at blogging and I apologize. I still create but have been sewing more and taking photos of what I sew is just not as easy as cards. 

Today I am posting a card that I created for the newest challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog. 

The Cupcake Inspirations Challenge is a THEME challenge this time around. It is to use stars on your card. I wanted to use it in a slightly different way so I decided to use a STARFISH instead of a regular star.

I could have used the colors of red, white and blue, as in the photo but I wanted to make a more of a beach themed card. I used the Pretty Pink Posh's Summer Circles as my main image and colored it in with Copic Markers. 

I added a starfish die cut from Hero Arts and the sentiment is from "Seas and Greetings" from Simon Says Stamp.

I have been in a creative funk but love how this came out!!!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #545

 Hey Friends!! 

Today I am popping in with a card that I created for this weeks Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #545. It is all about GRADUATION! This challenge will run for TWO weeks and I hope you decided to join us!!

I created a very simple card as I have very few graduation supplies. I actually have more than I could find, which sometimes frustrates me. Below is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #545 badge.

I masked off the center of a white panel and shaded it in with a yellow and orange shade dye ink. I then added a die cut cap from Sugar Pea Designs.

The sentiment is from an old My Favorite Things stamp set and I added some gold gems from my stash. It was a very easy card but I love the results.

Using Printed Die Cuts on a Card with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #544

Hello everyone!! Just popping in with a card I created for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #544. It is the second week of the challenge and it is a THEME challenge. 

What is the theme you might ask? STRIPES!!!

I love stripes and I could have created 20 cards with this theme. However, I only had time for one. I decided to use some new supplies that I bought last week. I absolutely LOVE Pinkfresh Studio's Life Right Now paper and floral ephemera. 

I added a Paper Smooches die cut frame and a butterfly from Spellbinders Butterfly Burst Dies.

I used Stickles on the flowers to jazz them up and the sentiments are from my stash. Easy Peasy!!!

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #543 Reminder

 Hello friends!! 

I am just popping in today with another card for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #543. 

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #543 is to create a Mother's Day card or to make a card for someone special that is a female.

I embossed the daisy from Altenew's Paint a Flower: Gerber Revolution in white and used Ken Oliver's Colorburst powders in Lime, Indigo and Violet to "paint" my flower. 

I splattered Picket Fence and Black Soot Distress Stain across the top and added a sentiment from My Favorite things.

This card was SO FUN to make and plan to make more with some of Altenew's other Paint-A-Flowers.

Just a Reminder to Join Us at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge for Challenge #542

Hello everyone!! 

I am popping in with a quick post to remind you to come on over and play with us for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #542. 

It is week #2 for this challenge and it is to use the colors Lime, Yellow and Orchid on a card.

Once again I used an image from the Varada Sharma Shop that she generously gifted us. 

Instead of coloring my flowers in orchid purple like I did last week, I decided to use yellow. I also used the sentiment that was gifted to us by Varada as well. 

I added some Kat Scrappiness Purple Glass Bubbles around the sentiment to draw more attention to it.  They were the exact color of purple I needed!!
