Week #2 of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #619

 Hey Crafty Friends!!

There is still time to join the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #619. Challenge #619 is a COLOR challenge-PEACH and RED.

I created my card with some digital images from our sponsor this round-Polka Doodles.

Polka Doodles generously donated a gnome image for the Design Team to use and I decided to alter the image by deleting the gnome and focusing on the flowers.

I blew them up and created a half border around the card. Digital stamps are perfect for doing techniques like these.

I colored in the flowers with Copic Markers and layered it over an A2, Kraft card base with an embossed background.

I stamped the sentiment from Altenew with black ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then used Glossy Accents inside the flower centers. The red gems were the finishing touch.

I used colored pencils to color in these images. I am not perfect in this medium but I like how it is coming out.

I distressed the edge of my white panel and adhered it over a pink piece of paper that I created with ink, stamps and stencils.

A New Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenges-Challenge #613

 Hello Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #613 is a COLOR challenge. Create a project using the colors SKY BLUE, PINK and GREEN.

I created this card with a digital stamp that was so generously donated to the Design Team by The Paper Shelter.

I used Copic Markers to color in my images. I then die cut the image into a circle.

I popped it up over a blue background surrounded with pink cardstock. I chose not to do a sentiment on this card because I wasn't sure what to use.

The last step was to add some gems around my little gal.

There is Still Time to Play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #611

Today I am popping in with a card to remind you that there is still time to play with this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #611 is a COLOR challenge.. Create a project using the colors RED, BLACK and WHITE.

We have a sponsor for this round-Last Minute Manda. I used one of the adorable pups from the Little Dog Valentine Digital Stamp Set for my card.

I used Copic Markers to color in the dog using dots to create something that looks like "fur."

I layered it over some pattern paper from an old "Head Over Heels Collection" by Bo Bunny Press and Echo Park.

I then added some twine around the bottom and stamped a sentiment in the middle of the heart. I think this came out so cute.

For my card, I used an an image generously donated to the DT by our SPONSOR-Last Minute Manda. 

This is from the Baby Edward digital stamp set. 

Once again I chose to color in this adorable image in yellow and green with Copic Markers. I kept it neutral so I could give this to someone having a boy or a girl. 

I layered it over some scraps of pattern paper and used die cut letters for the sentiment. I LOVE how this came out. It was so fun to color.

I used an image that was generously donated from our SPONSOR for this challenge-Last Minute Manda.  

I LOVED this little elephant from the Baby Edward digital stamp set.

I colored in the image using Copic Markers and layered the colored panel over some scraps of pattern paper. I chose to use greens and yellows so I can send this to a boy or a girl.

I dug out some old alphabet stickers from my scrapbook days for the sentiment. I LOVE how this card came out!!!

A New Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge-Challenge #591

Hey Friends!!!

There is a new challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #591. This round is a COLOR CHALLENGE. It is to use the colors FROSTY BLUE, MOCHA and WHITE on a card. 

We have a sponsor for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #591-The Paper Shelter. The Paper Shelter generously donated the Happy Little Mouse Digital Stamp for us to use.

I used Copic Markers to color the little mouse in. I then used Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink for the background.

I layered the image over an embossing folder from Honey Bee Stamps-Burlap.

I then layered a sentiment from my stash and sequins to complete the card.

Just a Reminder for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #587

 Hello Friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card to remind you that there is still time to play with this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #587 is a COLOR challenge. Create a project using the colors RED, PINK and WHITE.

Once again I used a digital image from our sponsor-All Dressed Up Stamps-to create my card. I had so much fun coloring in the adorable girl and her little pets on the "Time to Read" image.

I printed out my digital image onto white paper. I then used Copic Markers to color it in.

When my coloring was complete, I fussy cut the digital stamp out and used foam adhesive to adhere it over a white card base that I had covered with some scraps of red and pink pattern paper.

I added a sentiment from my stash and topped off the card with some red rhinestones.
