Hey Friends!!!
I am just popping in with two cards that I created using some challenges as inspiration.
My first card I used The Paper Players #774 Sketch that is on the blog this week as my inspiration.
I dug out my coveted Basic Grey paper for this card. I die cut the flowers using the Fresh Picked Anemones from Spellbinders.
I did a bit of ink blending with Ocean Breeze and Aquamarine dye ink from Pinkfresh as my teal color on the leaves. The peach on the leaves and the background is from Peachy Keen by Altenew.
I used the Altenew Arched Foliage embossing folder on white cardstock for the background. I cut a strip of peach at the top.
I finished the card off with some sequins that was in an old Spellbinders Advent Calendar. I was so bad at opening them when I bought them and completed opening THREE this weekend!
Well, that is all from me today. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

The die cut flowers make a real statement and work nicely with the floral paper in the background. I like the treatment of the sentiment too - lovely card! Thanks for joining in with my sketch challenge this week at The Paper Players.
Hello Nora, I am popping by to give your beautiful cards a proper comment. Those Anemones look so pretty and never disappoint especially against the background you chose. As for your gorgeous card for Color Hues...I love everything about it. The softness of the petals, the spatters and the embellishments too. Thanks for taking the time to join us, we sure do appreciate it. Have a good weekend too.
This is a beauty! I really love how your splatters are more pronounced at the top with a gradient towards the bottom. Thanks so much for playing with us at Color Hues!
The mix of treasured Basic Grey paper with the Fresh Picked Anemones creates such a striking focal point, and the sketch really shines in the way you balanced those layers. The second card has a beautiful softness with the teal and peach blending, and the embossed background adds just the right amount of texture. The leafy cluster looks gorgeous in those challenge colors, and the sequins are a perfect finishing touch.
I appreciate your visit to my blog and the kind words you shared. I hope you will stop by again soon.
Beautiful cards! Love the both! Thank you so much for playing along with us over at the Color Hues Challenge!
