Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #587

 Hello Friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #587 is a COLOR challenge. Create a project using the colors RED, PINK and WHITE.

My card was created with a digital stamp from our sponsor this round- All Dressed Up Stamps. I chose to use All Dressed Up Stamp's the "A Little Note" digital stamp for this project.

Below is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Badge for CIC587.

I chose to print my stamp in black ink onto a kraft cardstock background. Then I colored it in with both Copic Markers and colored pencils.

I chose to keep the coloring kind of "rustic" looking because I didn't want to shade in the whole piece of "paper" on the typewriter in white. I kind of took how I wanted to color the image in from there.

I layered the kraft panel over a card base that was layered with a scrap of pattern paper and some pink and red cardstock scraps. The addition of the red rhinestones were the last step.

Want to join us this round? To see more details about the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #587, head on over to the BLOG. I cannot wait to see what you create!!!

That is all from me. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

A Couple of Valentine's

Hey friends!! I am just popping in with a couple of Valentine's I created.

My first cad was inspired by last week's Freshly Made Sketches #571, which I sadly missed the deadline.  However, I will still be entering it into a couple of challenges.

The sketch that inspired me is below:

I used a mixed a bunch of old and new supplies. The "One Kiss Die" is from Couture Creations and a leftover from THIS card. I have used these lips in so many cards and I LOVE them!!

The background paper is "Ink Drop-Rose" from the Craft Consortium and I received it this weekend. I am supposed to be on a buying freeze but it has not been going well. Their is always March, right?

The border is a Spellbinders May 2020 Small die of the month. I NEVER used it and I thought now was the perfect time!! I added a sentiment from Hero Arts "Love Sentiment Strips" stamps and the little tickets are 49 & Market's "Ticket Essentials-Salsa."

I am entering this card into Papercraft Challenge #90-Anything Goes.

My second card I used the candy kiss die from the January Hero Arts Card Kit.

I die cut a ton out and adhered them to a red 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" piece of red cardstock

I added a vellum heart that I die cut using Kat Scrappiness' "Hearts of Love" dies. The stamped sentiments are from My Favorite Things "My Galantine" stamp set (retired) and Say it With Stamps "Kiss Me" stamp set.

The SWAK is a die cut that is also from Say it with Stamps "Kiss Me" dies. I LOVE how this card came out and it was so fun to create!!

I am entering this into this week's Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge -"Love is in the Air."

Well that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by today. Have a FABULOUS day!!

I Love You More

Happy Tuesday!! It has been snowing here all day and I had a couple hours in my craft room. I created a couple of Valentines.

The first I used Inspired by Challenges (#IB160).

I used both the badge and the sketch to create my card.

I used the new Ranger Kitsch Flamingo Distress Ink to blend behind my heart that I die cut from some 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Paper.

The hearts behind my kraft heart are from Simon Says Stamp Stacked Hearts Die and the Macrame Borders and Tassels dies for the border is from The Greetery.

For my second card was inspired by The Card Concept Challenge #148 and Just Us Girls #570 Valentines. I used the sketch from Try Stamping On Tuesday

I started off with using a pattern paper background.

The die cut hearts are from Lawn Fawn-Candy Hearts. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things "My Galantine."

That is all from me tonight. I thank you for taking the time to stop by.

A Birthday and a Valentine

(Affiliate links used in this post, when possible, at no extra cost to you.)

Hi everyone!! Just a quick post with  some cards I created but never posted for some defunct challenges, as well as new challenges. I am great at doing that as of late but oh well.

The first card is a birthday card. I started off by using the CASE This Sketch #302 as my base and built on from there.

I used images from various different My Favorite Things stamp sets. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday's Umpteenth Birthday stamp set.  I LOVE the fun sentiments from this set!!

I actually used a lot of images that I had previously colored and then die cut. Then when I have a card I want to make I have images to choose from.

This sketch was tough for me but I was determined to complete it as I am trying to challenge myself a bit more and get out of my comfort zone.

The polka dot paper is from my scrap bin.

I am entering this into Seize The Birthday challenge #157 but am not using the topping, stamping only.

My second card I created for two challenges-The Card Concept #106 Pink Challenge (which I missed but oh well!!) and Uniko's Challenge #51 Anything Goes with a twist of Love.

I started off this card by stamping two hearts in different pinks onto white cardstock using Simon Says Stamps Tons of Hearts stamp set.

I added a pig from Hello Bluebirds Farmyard Little Bits and colored it in using Copic Markers.

I then die cut the panel using Lawn Fawn's 4 Bar Stitched Dies and layered it over a couple of pieces of patterned paper scraps that I had adhered to an A2 sized, pink card base.

I added some Tonic Aqua Shimmer  and then Glossy Accents over the heart the little pig is holding and the tiny pink hearts to finish off my card. I think this is one of my favorite cards I have created in a LONG time and think I will be looking through my tiny images to create a few more.

I thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog. I hope you all have a simply FABULOUS Tuesday!!

A Few Challenges

(Disclaimer-Affiliate Links are used in this post, when possible, at no extra cost to you.)

Hi everyone!! It has been quiet once again on my blog. I have been taking a bit of an internet break this month. Charlotte went back to school last Sunday so I spent as much time as I could with her while she was home.

Today I have two cards that I using CASE this Sketch #305 as my inspiration.

My first card I kept closely to the sketch design. I tried to use as many NBUS (Never Been Used Schtuff-Acronym by Darnell) that I bought in December for myself.

I started by embossing with the Lawn Fawn Quilted Background die onto white Neenah Solar White cardstock. I then used the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched 4 Bar Rectangle dies so I would have an outlined stitch around the outside edge.

I then adhered this to an A2 sized card base. I added a Simon Says Stamp Outline Clustered Leaves die cut that I had cut out of mirrored green cardstock.

I added a PTI sentiment strip that I had stamped a Simon Says Stamp using the Happy Thoughts stamp set.

This card I am entering in the CASE this Sketch #305 and As You See It Challenge #192 Metallics.

My second card I kind of went a different route. Instead of a leaf cluster, I decided to do a border of stamped hearts in different colors and sizes.

I used Simon Says Stamp's Tons of Hearts stamp set for the hearts and the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp's Breakfast Buddies set.

This is kind of a non-traditional colored Valentine but I wanted to mix oranges and pinks together. It was a dreary, snowy day yesterday and these colors made me happy. I added some mirrored sequins to finish it off.

I am entering this into CASE this Sketch Challenge #305 too, as well as Uniko's January/February Challenge #51 Anything Goes with a twist of Love  and Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge: Clean and Simple.

That is all from me today. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. I hope you all have a FABULOUS day!!
