Spring 2022 Release at Kat Scrappiness Shop

*This post contains affiliate links used at no extra cost to you

Hello everyone!! Happy Saturday!!

It is very wet and nasty here in Connecticut-the perfect time to sit and craft with a hot beverage.

I am posting two cards today in celebration of the new Kat Scrappiness Store's Spring Release!!

For my first card, I used a mixture of old and new products.

The fun pattern paper is from the new Hop Into Easter 6" by 8" paper pack. They have some really cute papers using the colors purple, pink, green and teal, with some fabulous flower, polka dot and my favorite-gingham patterns!!

My stamped sentiment is from the new Kat Scrappiness Hippity Hoppity sentiment set and my adorable rabbit is from the new Kat Scrappiness Hippity Hoppity Bunnies. I colored the little bunny with Copic markers. Isn't it so cute?

The large egg was die cut using the Kat Scrappiness Rainbow Egg Dies. The little yellow jewels around my critter are the new Yellow Jewels embellishment.

For my second card, I created a simple shaker card.

Again, I used some of the pattern paper from the new Hop Into Easter 6" by 8" paper pack with the Kat Scrappiness Embossed Edge Rectangle Die to die cut both the white flower paper and my green frame. This die has become my new "go to" die when I want to die cut rectangles.

The bunny and sentiment are from the new KS Hippoty Hoppity Sentiments and KS Hippity Hoppity Bunnies Stamps. Again, I used Copic Markers to color in the little bunny.

I used the White AB Confetti Solid Mix and Pastel Love Sprinkles inside my shaker element and the new Yellow Jewels for the middle of my flower.

All of these products are now available in the Kat Scrappiness Shop in the "New KS Products" section!!

In celebration of the new release, I have an additional card in Kat Scrappiness' Instagram Hop!!! Start HERE to begin the IG Hop and to learn all the rules to be entered into a drawing of random prize of $25 for the Kat Scrappiness Shop!!

That is all from me today. I hope that you have a FABULOUS Saturday!!! Thank you for stopping by!!!

Happy Easter!!

Hello everyone!! I hope you all are having a fabulous Friday! We had an ice storm here. I thought we would get more snow but instead we got mostly freezing rain. The good thing about the bad weather is I got the day off from work since I work at a school!

Today I am on the blog for the Kat Scrappiness February 2022 Embellishment Release. I created an Easter shaker card using the new Spring Has Sprung Sprinkles.

I started off my card by die cutting the large bunny using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Bunny Outline Dies from white cardstock. I shaded it in with yellow ink and added some black eyes with a gel pen.

I then die cut the same bunny out of a piece of pattern paper from the Rainbow Confetti Slimline Paper. I adhered the yellow bunny onto a white, A2, top folding card, using the pattern paper as a guide. I used some foam adhesive and the Spring Has Sprung Sprinkles to create a shaker card.

I die cut the little rabbit from the Stitched Bunnies from pink cardstock and blended some pink ink across the top. I added some white dots and black eyes with gel pens. I adhered it next to my shaker bunny.

I added a die cut green Happy Easter that I had die cut with the Happy Easter w/Shadow Die and adhered it to my card. I added some white dots using a gel pen and covered my sentiment with Glossy Accents. My card was complete!!

I urge you to hop on over to the Kat Scrappiness Blog to see some other fabulous cards created with this new release!!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

A Little Springtime in Summer!!

We have been busy this weekend trying to stay cool. Once again I am uploading layouts to this blog that I have created over the last few months. This post will be all about "spring." Each page contains something to do with spring.

My first page is about how coloring Easter eggs is always an after thought in our house. I can buy a die kit months in advance like I did this year and we still wind up coloring eggs in the late afternoon of Holy Saturday. (Please excuse the scan. For some reason I have a difficult time getting both sides of a Kraft Cardstock background to meet up!!) I created this page for a challenge over at Scrapjazz.com this month. If you want, come on over and join us. If you create a layout and upload it, you will be entered into a random drawing for a prize pack from Scrapbook.com.
