Just a Reminder for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #596-FOR THE GUYS

Hey friends!!

I am just popping in with a reminder that there is still time to play over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Challenge #596 is a THEME challenge-FOR THE GUYS!!!

I decided to use some new products I ordered from The Greetery on my card. I just HAD TO HAVE that birthday stencil!!! Below is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Badge for CIC596:

I started off my card by making the background that is covered up by the white panel. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a Prima Marketing background stamp to create a piece of pattern paper. When I first started I was not sure I was going to cover it up or I would probably have not put the effort in to making it!!

I then adhered the stenciled panel on top of the background. To finish it off, I used some white gems. Easy peasy!!

I LOVE how it came out and think I will have to make a few more for my stash!!!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #596-For the Guys!

Hey friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Challenge #596 is a THEME challenge-FOR THE GUYS.

Guys cards are so hard for me to create for some reason. Am I the only one? Below is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Badge for CIC596:

I chose to use some of the main colors from the Inspiration Picture on the badge. I used scraps and cut them into strips.

Instead of using a dark brown, I chose to go with a Kraft color for the card base and "happy" sentiment.

Graduation is at the end of the month for some students I work with.  I figured I would make a card. I used old stamps from Paper Trey Ink, MFT Stamps and Casual Fridays Stamps for this card.

I am going to be honest, I had a hard time with this challenge. Primary colors are NOT my jam. However, these colors worked well for this card.

A New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations-Challenge #595

I love the safety pin die cut. It is so CUTE. I did a bit of smooshing for the lilacs.

For my card, I used an an image generously donated to the DT by our SPONSOR-Last Minute Manda. 

This is from the Baby Edward digital stamp set. 

Once again I chose to color in this adorable image in yellow and green with Copic Markers. I kept it neutral so I could give this to someone having a boy or a girl. 

I layered it over some scraps of pattern paper and used die cut letters for the sentiment. I LOVE how this came out. It was so fun to color.
