There is Still Time to Play at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #590

Hey Friends!!!

There is still time to play at the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #590. It is a theme challenge this round-TROPICAL.

For my card, I used some dies from Paper Trey Ink-the Go-to-Gift Card Holder: Beach Bag. I had fun digging through my stash of scrap pieces to die cut of each of my elements on this card.

Below is the challenge badge for the CIC590

I layered all these die cuts over a piece of paper that I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink and various colors of Distress Stain on top of to look like dark sand.

The sentiment is from a Paper Trey Ink sentiment set-Keep It Simple: Retirement.

The leaves are Wild Greenery from My Favorite Things Stamps.

A New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #590

Hey Friends!!

Just popping in with a card for the new challenge over at the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #590. This round is a THEME challenge-TROPICAL.

I started off this card by stamping flowers from a free stamp that I  received from Paper Trey Ink in 2013. I am trying to use things in my stash and this set was PERFECT for this challenge!!

Below is the badge for this CIC590:

I used tons of different ink cubes for stamping each of the flowers/leaves. These colors are "tropical" to me.

I then used a leaf die cut from my stash layered under a Stampin Up! Sentiment from an old Sale-A-Bration set, Whimsical Words.

Some Cards for Challenges

****Some links used in this post are Affiliate Links used a not extra cost to you.

 Hey Friends!!!

I am just popping in today with a BUNCH of cards I created this week. The first three cards I post are for some challenges that I am joining in on.

All three cards are created by using background stamps and some shading. I did a theme of butterflies for all cards.

My first card I created for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #627.

I started off  creating the striped paper with an MFT background stamp. I layered it over a piece of paper that was embossed with the Spellbinders Leafy 3D Embossing Folder. I then adhered a piece of foliage that was cut using the Pinkfresh Curvy Foliage Die

I then colored in a Glimmer Butterfly from Birch Press Designs with Copic Markers to adhere over the top of the foliage.

The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Simple Strips Sympathy.

Below is the challenge badge for Freshly Made Sketches #627.

My next card I created I using Tuesday Morning Sketches #748 as the jump off point.

The background of this card was stamped using the Striped Background by MFT Stamps. I stamped it both ways to make the grid. I layered a die cut Fancy Frame by Sunny Studios.

The foliage behind the Simon Says Stamp Layered Cosmic Butterfly was die cut from the Flowing Foliage Die Set

The butterfly is colored in using Copic Markers and the sentiment is from Taylored Expressions.

The last card I created I used the Paper Craft Crew Challenge #561 as my inspiration. This was a sketch challenge and the challenge badge is below.

Again, I used a stamped paper I created using the Hero Arts Acanthus background stamp and Twilight Pawsitively Saturated Ink from Simon Says Stamp for my background paper.

I used an arch instead of the rectangle where I placed the butterfly. The arch was die cut with Spellbinders Arch Dies and embossed with the Spellbinders Mandala Blooms

Instead of a banner, I used the Curvy Leaves Die Cut from Pinkfresh Studio.

The script strip is a paper I created using Simon Says Pawsitively Saturated Ink. The colors I used were Morning, Twilight and Galaxy. The script was created using the Hero Arts Script Bold Prints.

Want to see more butterfly sympathy cards? I am involved in a blog hop over on Instagram. It is called Create it 3 Ways Challenge. You make three cards using a theme with any products you want. This is my second month and have chosen to use the same colors, paper I created and butterflies. If you want to see my cards, here is the LINK.

Just a Reminder for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #589

Hello Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card to remind you that there is still time to play with this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #587 is a COLOR challenge. Create a project using the colors ORANGE and BLUE.

I used the image "Girl Holding Hat" from this round's sponsor PJ Moore Illustrations. I think this image is so cute!!!

I used Copic Markers to color the girl in. I then tore the bottom and added some scraps of blue and orange torn paper at the bottom.

I added a blue piece of pattern paper at the top of my card front and layered it over an A2, white, card base.

I adhered the Concord and 9th sentiment strips over the card using foam adhesive. I then randomly sprinkled some blue rhinestones across the front to finish my card off. I LOVE HOW THIS CAME OUT!!!

A New Challenge Over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge- Challenge #589

Hello Friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #589 is a COLOR challenge. Create a project using the colors ORANGE and BLUE-two of my FAVORITE colors.

I had so much fun creating this card using the digital stamp "Girl With Windblown Hair" from our sponsor this round-PJ Moore Illustrations

Below is the challenge Badge for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #589:

I colored this image in with some Copic Markers and masked her off to shade a portion of the background in with orange Distress Ink.

I then layered it over a frame that I die cut using Fancy Frames from Sunny Studio and Ink Drops-Ocean pattern paper from the Craft Consortium. Oh how I LOVE this paper!! The shade of blue was PERFECT for my card.

The sentiment was created by me for my card on PS when I printed it out. I thought it was PERFECT to use for this image!! The last detail was to add some orange rhinestones around the waist area of the girl. I cannot say if I really like that detail but since I glued them on, they will be staying!!!

There is Still Time to Play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #588

Hey friends!! There is still time to play over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #588. This round is a THME challenge-DINOSAURS!

For my card, I used the adorable dinosaur and tree image from Pixel Paper Prints. Pixel Paper Prints generously donated the Dinosaur Digital Stamp set for the DT to use.

Below is the challenge badge for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #588.

I started off my card by doing an ink blended sky with Distress Ink. I then tore green cardstock and created some "grass" for my little scene.

I adhered the tree between the layers of green cardstock and then popped up the dinosaur using foam adhesive.

The last step was to adhere the stamped sentiment from my stash. Easy Peasy!!!

A New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge-Challenge #588

Hey friends!! I am just popping in with a card for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #588.  This round is a THEME challenge-DINOSAURS.

We have a sponsor to the challenge this round. Pixel Paper Prints generously donated the Dinosaur Digital Stamp Set for us to use on our projects. Aren't they so cute?

Below is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge badge for Challenge #588.

I started off my card by embossing a white card front and then using a circle die to cute various size holes in it.

I traced the outline of the circles on a white, A2 card front and did some ink blending in yellow, blue and green.

I then adhered the dinosaurs using foam adhesive that I had printed, colored with Copic Markers and cut out over the circles.

My last step was to add a stamped sentiment and my card was done. I LOVE how this came out.

Want to play with us this round? Head on over to the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog to see how to enter.

That is all from me today. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a GREAT Monday!!!
